Any chance anyone knows where to get advanced machines v2.00?
Probably several months, since That will be my lower estimate for when ALblaka updates Industrialcraft to 2.0.
As we all know you actually mean version 1.23, I have absolutely no idea, but I do know that the more people ask, the less likely a mod maker is willing to update.
How about making solar panels collect dust(like snow) that requires you to *sweep* them off every so often.
Wind mills and water wheels get jammed every XX amount of power/randomly, and require a smack with a wrench(left click preferably) to get them going again.
If we were to have this, I would want the *normal* generators to be a bit more powerful, Ignoring Nuclear, which is quite powerful already.

now that you are done placing the solars, you have unlimited energy, and you dont have to do anything about it.
if you used the uranium, you need to
breed it then place it in reactor AND keep a close eye on it, so it don't explode.
and you need to make new parts for the reactor if they break.
Oh god the lag. Yea, that is the other thing. Solar pannels are all well and good if you dont like your server/computer, and want to punish it. This method would still be similar infinite energy, albeit in a different way, requiring some player input, but still constant energy.
And note that there is no such thing as infinite energy, not even with solar panels. They have a finite rate of generation, and hence cost TIME to run.

No, we already have easy unlimited energy. We have solar panels .We want an alternate method to generate unlimited power, that is more rewarding, but far more complex.
I personally think we need a mod that makes them accept HV, and laptron crystals.
True, They dont store infinite energy, but it does store immense amounts, but I think it actually does store energy, not generate it.

The name doesnt matter, not really. The mechanics matter. I think this would be a highly useful object, and I certainly would use it, even on my small scale server.
The recylcer ratio is 8:1, and yes, I agree the wiki should have all of the process times in addition to power consumption, Or at least the old info from the HEYO Original post with the info, which also told how much power was used per process as well as per tick, making ticks per process easy to figure out.
I think that really we just need a config option to prevent the creation/conversion of coins by anyone other than Admins, or similar.
I like the name ZPM better, and I have to say, That is a really good reason for adding a T4 storage block. I certainly would like it, as long as it comes with a t4 storage item as well, because emitting 2k power and having it last another 2.5x as long when experimenting is quite nice.
Or, naturally, Stronger and more dangerous mobs as you level up, Nuclear creepers? jetpack+Nano-saber Zombies? How about A mining laser Skelly?
But yea, a far shorter battery life is certainly called for, I agree with that.
Imagine sticking the stuff into a recycler, which then gives out (in a nearby chest) the corresponding materials that are salvageable.
I agree, Those should also have an influence, same -1, and possibly +2 for the IHD and RUC.
I actually went away from BC I rather see more stuff done with RP2. But either way I don't think anything should be made to depend on 1 mod to another.
I agree. Addons are a different story. We've got Those power converters for IC, BTW, and BC, which is fine, as you do not HAVE to have them, but if you do, they require both mods. So this would make for an interesting addon.
What about laser cartridges? like magazines for real weapons, when one is depleted the next one will give the EU to the laser :p?
I would say energy crystals, but apparently being able to recharge away from base would make it useful OP, and so it wont be implemented without an addon.
Pretty sure that this is impossible in base industrialcraft unless it is made to be dependent on buildcraft, but an addon could easily do this.
Since the nano-saber has a PVP purpose any chance you could make the tesla coil do insane amounts of damage to people in nano/quantum armor so it still retains its function in PVP? I noticed people in suits marching through the things as if they hadn't stopped the entire allied army from invading the soviet union.
The allied army didn't have a scientist who discovered that the mass fabricator could run far faster with a special material that could be made from anything, and hence were unable to, even with an outrageous amount of fossil-fuel burning, produce as much as 3 iridium plates, let along enough for everyone to have a suit.
On the serious side, I agree. It should certainly deal more suit damage.

Yes. I personally believe that machines should drop more than a machine block. A damaged circuit seems like a suitable addition. I know its possible for a block to drop 2 of something, although it is a little more code intensive.
The question is if it is possible for it to drop 2 TYPES of things.
Now, I think merely dropping all of the resources in the main recipie to make the item would work, but this is also interesting, as you would get most of the resources back, right?
This would be invaluable, as this huge storage would also be invaluable on my server, which although we do have access to personal chests, there is no way to use them at this time due to the inability to have resources be shared, or even viewed while inside.
Just stick to sticking tons of reeds into your OP recycler network, and farming diamonds that way.
