You will want to heat it up with some lava buckets first (I STRONGLY advise the thermometer mod), only put it on if it has ~9500 heat.

Well, I've got a nice nuclear reactor and a mass fabricator, which has just produced it's first "UU-matter". In the wiki, it says this stuff is able to make pretty much everything, so my question is:
how? I understand it's considered a little bit sercret-ish, but I think it'd be quite a waste of power if I have no use for it..

Thanks, this is my first reactor, and I'm a little short on iron and tin, so I figured this could be useful if you need power but don't have enough to get all the 6 added chambers.

I've just come up with this design, I don't know if it's already known, but I myself like it very much:

Indeed, I use TMI (am trying reactors and stuff, not wanting to waste loads of stuff in my non-cheated worlds), and nothing is wrong, except batteries/crystals need to 'function' to work, but in recipes they're all non-charged, so you'll have to recharge it again.

I thought that too, but with this it's easier just to hook up one nuclear reactor (for example) to ALL your machines, and not have other generators for your machines. I think I'll use this, once, when I get a bigger reactor..
