Your best option is to do the same as you do in real life:
produce the power at a powerplant, uptransform it to a higher voltage (higher voltage, lower amperage), transport it at that high voltage and at the end where you're using it again, you downtransform it again (lower voltage, higher amperage).
Alternatively you could also place a batbox/cesu/whatever every x blocks, where x needs to be small enough, that the energy loss is less than 1 EU.
If you really want to have the feature, you can use (Twighlight forests (I think)) uncrafting table, but making a mchine back into its components is not something I can see in IC2.

It would be too op, wouldn't fit the concept of ic or even minecraft, it's not what the wrench is supposed to do, and the same reason of why uncrafting table are not a thing: there might be multiple recipes for the same thing where the crafting ingredients for a single recipe are ambiguous.

irl, energy uses the way of least resistance. Further away means more resistance.
It all depends on what you set your priorities to, so a cool arrangement for one use case might be completely garbage for another.

Also I started adding the reactor codes to the description on the reactor design thread. I also added a small info on how to use it, so if you actually read the info text in the reactor designs thread, you would have known how to use the codes/urls
Changing this is way more complex than it seems, so as long as it works, I'm fine with it.
Modular powersuits already has this kind of stuff. It's also something we might do as well, if we suddenly get a lot of free time.
Adding a mode to the mining laser, that doesn't destroy the environment wouldn't fit the purpose of the Mining Laser. If it doesn't destroy blocks, there's no real point of using something else...
