Well, in general, I decided: if I can’t use the original assets (textures, models, translations, sounds, etc.), then I can make a “loader”. This mod requires the original ic2 exp jar and extracts the assets from it, formatting them directly in memory. I found a probably working version on version 1.19.2 with source code. Here's a link that might help you https://github.com/IndustrialCraftMC/IndustrialCraft2/releases/tag/ic2_2_9_40_1192 . I would be glad to see the finished mod, because this one is not finished. It's missing textures, and maybe more, which is interfering to play with friend.
