Thermal Centrifuge exploding?

  • Hey all.

Bit of a question really. My Thermal Centrifuge exploded (it seems) a few minutes ago. Is this because it has to much power into it?

The way I run it at the moment is:

I have 2 Geothermal Generators running into a CESU. The CESU is then connected directly with Copper Cable's to the Thermal Centrifuge. The other machine's have an LV-transformer connected to it set to 'Fixed step-down'.

The Power from the CESU to the LV-transformer is connected with Copper Cable's and the 3 dots on the Transformer.

Should I not directly connect the CESU to the Thermal Centrifuge? I couldn't find much about the Centrifuge itself, like how much power it accepts and how much is to much etc.

The thermal centrifuge SHOULD take 128... hmm... Are you sure there is nothing more then the CESU coming in?

  • That should definitely not explode, unless you managed to send in power from the other side of the LV transformer and it auto-toggled itself into step-up mode and reversed directions (possible if you did not set it to fixed step-down).
