Animated IC2 textures for 1.6.4

Has anyone been able to get animations to work for IC2 Experimental textures under MC1.6.4 ?
Or, do you know of any 1.6.4 textures packs that have working IC2 animations?

I had animations for IC2's Compressor and Windmill working under 1.4.7 but can't get them to work for 1.6.4.

I am eventually going to add animated forms of the machines, but I am busy right now.

I've got some time to do it but I can't get it to work.
I've got it working for the ComputerCraft turtle okay.
But, the same approach doesn't seem to work for IndustrialCraft.

Can anyone help? Or, maybe, tell me why it won't work?

No idea about items, but blocks definitely need separate code. IC2 also has its own texture render code, which might be problematic.

Actually, animations and normal textures when used with the vanilla methods don't require a change of code at all, irrelevant if blocks or items

Oh right, was that a 1.6 feature?

Anyway, the IC2 ones would need it since they use a sheet, not individuals.
