I was looking at Add ons when I saw the addon ic2 classic, where it's ic2 from 1.4 restored for 1.7 and I thought it would be great if some mod creator made gregtech 1.4 for 1.7 cause I don't really like the new gregtech and the old one is better (in my opinion). I would create it but I have no experience in creating mods, so this would be a challenge. Thanks!

And it will be normally compatible with IC2 exp. not sure about IC2 classic, because TD said that he only is ok with the updating and bug fixing of IC2 classic, but he is not OK at all for new features ( and I think addons of this mod count as new features

He hopefully means add items and blocks, because i'd really like to have a classic version of GT.
