have you tried reainstalling the mods on a clean minecraft install and tried connectin again? -

so i was trying to log into the server but it says that i dont have buildcraft installed(i do i use it in ssp) what do i do?

Yeah, I've tried reinstalling on a fresh .jar, didn't help much. Wouldn't hurt to try again.
And as far as I can tell, I have the right versions. Core, Factory, Transport 1.7.3.4, IC 8.55_2
EDIT: Now that I think about it, what config settings does the server use for Industrial Craft?

Are you putting the buildcraft zips into the mod folder or into your .jar?

They used to be in the mods folder, but I just tried putting them into the jar (the contents of the folders, of course. not the actual folders.). Neither worked.

Are you trying to use the nanosuit then? That is the only other thing i can think of. If you are then reinstall without those files and make sure your config file it set to have it off.

i can play it in singleplayer (i put it in the minecraft.jar file) but when i log on to the server it says i dont have buildcraft installed.
i have re-installed it multiple times but it still says i dont have it installed
