    Just need some clarification
    do i need to switch it off for a cooldown period if so how often
    Is there a simple circuit with redpower 2 to time activation of reactor
    Whats the best way to shut down a reactor if it's water cooled. How do you get a redstone signal to the central core???
    How long in real time will it run before needing a fuel changeover??

    Reactors can be shutdown by suppling them with redstone current, suppling a reactor chamber with red stone current will have the same effect.


    As for a RP2 timer, you could try this post.


    A uranium fuel cells will last a total of 10,000 seconds of active use.

    For the particular setup you're looking at using, it will last an entire cycle (up to 9 consecutively, without a cooldown period) without you needing to do anything, as it is well cooled; Just toss the fuel in and walk away! :)
