So i read in next version there will be more reactor components (FINALLY XD). That means this list may become obsolete (but that also depends on what those new components do). I make a new one if this is the case and mark this one obsolete. I will also link to this topic for ppl who still play on a old version or need the old designs for whatever reason that is.
Anyway cant wait till new version of IC2 for 1.32 is out

The first one is a mk2-1 so it needs a cooldown after every cycle, the second is a mk2-5 so it needs a cooldown every five cycles. it outputs 100 EU/t, the effective EU/t of the first one is 73.1 and of the second one is 87.3 EU/t
The efficiency is 1.67

After seeing designs in the first post, you still consider it pretty good ? In my opinion any Mk II reactor under 2 eff shouldn't be considered good, unless it has decent EU output. To not just criticise, I made you a quick one.

You know this is gonna become 10000x worse when new IC2 version is here with completely new reactor designs. But first few days should be calm xd as long as the reactor planner isnt updated :).

You are right, but it's all about price/performance and free space is not worth much. The designs on the list does the same and is cheaper than yours, and thus better.

heh nice try but iam pretty sure my design is the best possible design for a cheap 2 eff reactor xd. I think that design was the one we used before i discovered the current design.

I dont think he is buffing nuclear reactors. From what i have heard he is nerfing the components we use often (that probably means cooling cells and heat disipators) and buffing the ones we dont use. I also saw alot of new components possibly higher tiers of current components and maybe some new stuff.
Btw lets try to reach 140k views before new IC2 version is out

They are identical except for the fact your reactor has less water surounding it.
