SOLVED_Support Request [Invalid or Corrupt jarfile]

  • Greetings!

So, I saw that IC2 was updated (Thankyou!) And began setting up my server.
    (My Info)
    -WinVista x64
    -Newest MC client
    -Newest MC server

I installed modloader, and minecraftforge from the links provided on the download page, rechecked that I had ALL the files from the jar files.
    Deleted my Meta-Inf

Essentially, did everything I'm supposed to do.

So whenever I run the command

    Code
    java -Xmx1024m -Xms10247m -jar c:\users\pantalaimon\mcserver\minecraft_server.jar

I get the message "Invalid or corrupt jarfile

I have checked the forum, and only one person had a corrupt jarfile, he was running Linux, and not a server. So not that issue.

Any assistance would be ridiculously appreciated.

    IM me if you wish

    Many many thanks in advance.

I think I found your problem, you delete that on client, but not on server. Try again without deleting that this time.

In my world, I downloaded the new IC2 version, got up a whole bunch of crossbreeders going, and thought to myself "This is going to take a while. Wasn't there an abandoned mineshaft not far from my workshop?" So I get my tools together, charge into the mineshaft, suffer many close shaves, stayed a bit longer than is probably healthy, but emerge from the experience all the wiser (literally, I gained several levels), and with oodles of melon and pumpkins seeds to boot.

And come home to find out that weeds have destroyed my entire farm. :cursing:

  • Lol, yeah I wasn't terribly clear there was I...
