Been trying to play nice with industrialcraft2, but I'm at my wits end. While running any sort of power generation the game lag spikes like crazy(like 1fps jerking spikes of death). It's reproducible with different computers and the same maps and semi same mods too. SSP of course, no idea on server.
Support Request: Ultra lag problem

Maybe when you describe cicumstances little more, someone will recognize your problem and help you.

Ok, I first noticed it in a map I was using thermal gens, I had 4 banks of 5 running in tandem to an MFSU, they would run fine for a while then when I came back to the area it would jerk and stutter and hurk down to 1-6 frames, the only way to fix this was exit and come back in, shut them off, turn them back on again and resume what I was doing, or just by some miracle just hold a direction and run away from it. But soon as I would get near the MFSU it would resume the lag spikes of doom and become unplayable quickly.
So the other day I was working on this Link, again, had it set up to run, new map just to be sure, tossed in the fuel rods and flipped all the switches, everything seemed fine, so I sat there and let them bake in the oven and fill up the MFSU's, after a while I flicked the mouse, game was unresponsive as before with the geotherms, hit f3 this time and the graph was pure red right off the screen Link is a pic of the problem, no idea what is going on or why.

Welp, nope, they didn't work at all... this really bugs me... time to install fresh again, process of elimination time to find out just what the fek is going on and which mods are conflicting if it's even a mod.
EDIT:
Ok so after testing with just the basics here is what I came up with
You can look here for more pics with a better idea.
It only happens when you're in the air(had to use the jetpack to accomplish this which meant I did need to give myself a TMI install, but only to get the items into my inventory then swap the jar file to without it so that it's ONLY the 4 things required to play IC2.
At ground level looking at either MFSU or MFE the game runs fine, but soon as you look "down" at it, that's when shit hits the fan and the spikes begin. This is an absurdly stupid bug if you ask me, and for the life of me it makes no sense. So I don't know, looks like I'm stuck tinking with buildcraft mainly until this is fixed or someone figures out a fix. And yes, I deleted everything, just ran the mincraft.jar and had it download it all over again, one at a time, install each mod, open rar, dump files, close minecraft.jar, start minecraft, close minecraft rinse repeat until finally drop the IC2.jar into the mods folder, everything WORKS, it just doesn't work well for me(and the other i7 in the house with similar specs) apparently, and this pisses me off because I've been playing IC since launch... just took a break for months while alk was busy making IC2.

I was not sure with only first picture, but other pictures show it quite clearly. See that big yellow area in pie graph ? That should not be there.
Bluehorazon probably redirected you to the correct thread. If you can run MC with lwjgl 2.8.2, it should fix your problem. I have the same problem, but when I update my lwjgl, i can't run IC2 anymore (crashing). My lags are not that big, so i'm able to play with this "little" issue. I did not find any other solution. I hope it will be fixed somehow soon. -
Huh... yeah, that did it, though digging into the other thread I had not one fucking clue, so I just googled and found the 2.8.2, downloaded, tossed the .jar's and .dll's and bingo, shit worked perfectly. Well then, back to tinkering, thanks for pointing out it was sound, I'd have never figured that one out, sheesh...

Oh, just one more question, are you running 32-bit or 64-bit OS ? Windows ? Which ?
