I've compared, it doesn't appear to be in normal MC, but, when I add forge + IC^2 to my setup, it is IMPOSSIBLE to move in flowing water...

Jep, just confirmed it's actually caused by IC².
I got no freakkin clue why, though.Eventually something related to Rubber Boots.

i think it has something to do with the quantum suit

Actually it is probably the jet pack (have it on cant swim, take it off can swim).

Doesn't exactly make sense. The issue appears if your not wearing armor at all, too.
Or were you wearing rubber boots as well? -

Or were you wearing rubber boots as well?I can confirm that wearing no sort of armor will cause the same effect as wearing any kind of armor. I might as well get around to testing MCF +BC to see if I get the same issue (without IC2), to see if it's IC2 causing the issue, or MCF.

Fean is currently running a testrow with
-vanilly
-^^ + MCForge
-^^ + +IC²
Let's see his results, as well -
Found the issue. Mistook a getter with a calc method and accidentally caused water to effect players up to 4 times per frame. Fixed in next version.
