Also growing crops in the swamp is best so that also may help you out. I originally started growing my stuff in the desert which was border to a swamp now all my stuff is located on swamp side and is doing quite well.

well as i heard biomes dont have any effect on crops but may that info isnt right. -

Biomes themselves don't, but hydration does, how much dirt is below the block, etc, and I'm pretty sure the chunk hydration affects crop hydration. Makes my desert castle a horrible spot for growing crops, which is why I have a big wood platform over the ocean to grow stuff

It needs 5-10 light level, so if you have lots of light there it wont grow, try removing lights near it so you can move it to its own farm.

Redwheat needs low light to grow at all, not just last stage. I'm not sure how long it takes to grow because mine was outside, so only grew at night, but get rid of torches within like 5 blocks of it and keep it fertilized/watered, and it should grow. (but if its outside it might take a while even without torches)

I got my first redwheat in the image on the first page between 2 Aurelia but a good remedy for plants that refuse to grow is to give them a little kick in the arse with a fertilizer and hydration this usually solves the issue if you've given it plenty of time to do its thing and it hasn't. This maneuver is risky in some cases because if you overdo nutrients the plant will just vanish in my experience so do this sparingly in most cases just waiting is good enough. Also Light levels between 5 - 10 are important and I tend to use between 8 - 9 as a nice zone to grow the plant in its not important to grow it in this specific level of light that I know of I just like it because it doesn't murder my other plants with lack of light so much. To find the light level you can use Risu's sign tags or some other light sensor kind of thing which I wish there was a meter like the EU meter for IC² but I digress.

I made a little shack and lit it up with redstone torches and got my first redstone plant which I bred for three more. Even got my first Redstone off one with stats of Gr:7 Ga:4 Re:4!

Same here unfortunately. But yea my stats got worked out surprisingly in a plains biome.

I dont know whats wrong ive done everything that they suggest i do to get good values on the plants giving the plants 1 fertilizer and one click iof hydration cell every 15 minutes use diffrent light levels try diffrent amounts of plants around the place diffrent biome diffrent amount of soil underneath the plant diffrent types of plants but every time i cross breed i get 0,0,0 on all my stats ans im like WTF and my friend was able to do the same setup as me and he got like 10,15,12 and i only got 0,0,0 why is this.

i registered just to say thanks for that blueprint xizzy it is very easy to keep an overview of the plants this way im having a lot of fun trying this part of ic2 out not at your stage yet but working on ferru
