Hi guys I installed industrialcraft last night and i can't create some treetaps, I try to use the recipe that's on the industrial craft wiki but minecraft doesn't recognize the recipe.
I started a creative mode world and all of the industrial craft items are there.
So is this a common problem? any know solution?

Whats your version of IC/IC², forge, MC?
Maybe you should try out different types of wooden planks. Since they introduced different ones I too had some problems crafting things with a mix of different planks or some things didn't even work with certain types at all...
Have you tried just using plain oak tree planks?
From my understanding theres 4 types of planks.
Oak
Birch
Pine
Jungle
Our items can be crafted with all kinds of planks.
Yeah I figured it wasnt the kind of plank, as I have equivalent exchange installed too and can't craft those recipes either
Can you craft anything else?
