[Question] ethics of makeing a texture pack add on.

    I'm looking into making a Add on/conversion Of the last days texture pack. The only problem i have is that the owner of the pack has changed alot.


    1. Doku (Original Creator)
    2. History (First Revivalist)
    3. dereksmith (Second revivalist/ Current owner?)


    So my question is should i just Make a texture pack/ add on or should i try to gain "Permission" from dereksmith.
    I just dont know who the "legal" owner is or what i should do.
