When i converted my file from IC 1 to IC 2, all unique items from the mod were randomly changed. My generators became nukes, all cable became resin, and my metals turned to dust literally. I also randomly have 18 electric jetpacks, 19 batpacks, and 4 nano-leggings. I dont know what is going on with this but you might just want to code the items to covert or just delete them entirely. You might have already covered this but i am just commenting on it.

IC1 and IC2 are incompatible with eachother, due to the fact that IC2 makes more use of Meta-data.
There are plans for someone to make a converter, but don't hold your breath for it.

Changing ID's, or Minecraft became confused.

If you want to manually change your IDs use an ID Changer. This tool will enable you to convert one block to another, so if all your copper oar turned into machine blocks you can go back and change all machine blocks into copper oar.

Besides, someone built a IC to IC2 converter, just jump over to the IC2 Addon board, you'll find it.
