I read that you should be able to breed 8 re-enriched per uranium cell. When i breed for 5,000 seconds the depleted uranium is at -1, and it takes an addition tick to go to re-enriched. So the second cycle always comes up a bit short. Am I doing something wrong?

Certainly in the (U) breeding I've done, at 8k heat, it's not at all unusual to see an uneven distribution of cell charging, so that some of the cells need to be finished up after a run. I don't think you're doing anything wrong.

All the code for this is being rewritten from scratch for the next release, so who knows what will happen to this issue !

If breeding at below 9k, each second it is defined by chance, if isotope will gain one point. At 9kplus it is a determenistic process.
But it is very likely if breeding at 9k will require one second more than full cycle. For me, it's a good thing, because it leaves holes at right places and allows easy replacing.
