You have run into the sound bug, if you had bothered to read even the first page of this part of the forum, you may have noticed this thread and many others have already pointed out the problem to the developers.
Sound is currently broken in beta releases 1.106 to 1.108. You should disable sound in the IC2 config to avoid a crash if playing SSP.
