We all know that the macerator is able to grind up chunks of ore and give you dust, but what about the rock that the ore was coated in? I would like to suggest that the macerator gets another output slot that fills with gravel at a rate of one gravel per ore. Why would we want a mountain of gravel, you might ask? One, you can sift through it for flint to make those oh so useful industrial tnt bundles, but what if we added another function to the macerator where it would grind gravel into sand? Getting sand from gravel would help greatly in the future of your industrial revolution, as you would be able to make glass that much easier, allowing for faster creation of solar farms and fiber cables. Another idea is to be able to grind stone or cobblestone into gravel, then into sand, though doing so would be a big drain on energy.
Suggestion: Sand making

Macerators already grind cobblestone into sand, and as it's essentially an infinite resource with a cobblefarm, then it's a bit of a pointless addition. You already get double your ore yeild from macerators. I think getting additional blocks is a little greedy, don't you?

I actually hadn't seen that they could do that now. Guess this topic can get deleted for irrelevancy or something then
