Total and utter farming confusion. (rookie.)

So I started my server and worked as the Nuclear Engineering/Coding (Computercraft; we're using tekkit lite) expert. Recently after an altercation our agricultural 'expert' left the server, leaving me alone there. I still want to continue to make it work; but I have absolutely NO idea what to -do.- He already got to a 9x9 area each planted with coffee seeds and hops seeds with a Matron in the center attached to the main power grid. But now what do I do?

Will I get seeds for each one I harvest? Will I not? Is there a good tutorial out there for totally screwed rookies? XD

I'm just asking for the industrialcraft side of things, though. Or is that not allowed?

The second one had what I needed- I just had to figure out what happens with existing plants and the basics of growing 'em, not the cross-breeding stuff. Th anks.
