The case of the vanishing reactor chamber

I've been scouring the net looking for any answers to this, and I was wondering if anyone here might help me out.

I have a 6-chamber breeder reactor using this design.

The problem is that one of the chambers keeps randomly vanishing. I haven't been looking when it happens, but it has happened about three times now (always the same chamber). By vanishing I mean that one of the chambers (and all of the components in the last columns) simply disappear. The rest of the reactor remains intact, so it doesn't look like a meltdown. Any ideas what might cause a single reactor chamber to vanish?

If temperature fluctuations cause your reactor to peak above melting temperature now and then, the chamber might simply be melting off. Take out a heating cell for a bigger safety margin and see if that changes anything.

The Reactor planner cant calculate heating cells properly, so your reactor is overheating. If you have GT, use its computer cube (although its a pain in the ass to use :P)

Ah, thank you.

I am not running GT. Any idea how I can determine what the melting temperature is, or else find some documentation on the melting behavior?

Its gregtech stuff is messed up in various ways, but its good for vanilla.

The GT stuff isnt messed up, just outdated. Vanilla still doesnt work with Heat Cells since it doesnt calculate properly.
