Why using diamond to get dioxide carbon? It is in atmospheric air. Empty (air) cell + extractor -> CO2 cell
Well, in that way, you would have pure carbon dioxide, when you take from the atmosphere, you get a few more elements. Besides, I want to drink beer carbonated with diamond (Who wouldn't?) a waste of diamonds? Yes. Worth it? maybe. Perhaps, it could be an alternate way to get carbon dioxide.
Edit: Perhaps you could get a carbon dioxide cell when you craft an empty cell at a certain height.

Suggestion: Put a diamond in a furnace (or induction furnace), then get a heated diamond. Put it in the centrifuge to get Carbon dioxide cell (or if you ever add liquid oxygen, craft it with liquid oxygen) Craft that with a water cell to make carbonated water cell, craft that with a mug, wheat, and hops to make regular beer.Legit diamond beer

Greg, did you know your addon is supported by Faithful 32x32? You should add a supported texture packs folder on your original post.

Looks like at one point gregtech broke crafting dual uranium cells, but now it's fixed in this latest version? Broke as in crafting them immediately gave them a damage value of 1, which made them unusable for crafting quad uranium cells. Tested with only IC2 and gregtech. Bug seems to have been fixed in the latest version though.

I would need waterproof. Not only for steam but for water and lava too. Redpower... "Y U NO UPDATE". Thermal expansion i decided to get, but its close to an addon on buildcraft.

Greg, why not just name it a "Vaccume" or "Vaccume cleaner" instead of " Electric item cleaner"

@above, diamond is crystal carbon, you turn diamond to dust, you can't compress it back.

Is it possible to differentiate between ocean water from other sources of water? If so, then an alternate method of obtaining uranium would be to extract it from seawater. Currently it would cost about 10x more to extract from seawater than from mining. Maybe have a thing that can extract minerals from sea water (maybe some sorta thing to check that it is getting water from the ocean?)
This would provide an alternate way to get more of the elements you use.
see http://www.seafriends.org.nz/oceano/seawater.htm#composition for details on the ratios naturally found, or you could base it off the current rarities in game (ie if iridium ore spawns once bet 5 chunks, have 1 iridium dust per 16*16*5*70 (90k ish) or so water units processed)
side note: a single thorium reactor with 2 quad cells and 6 reflectors feeding some recyclers and cobblegens making scrap boxes generates materials rather quickly.
That seems interesting, but you would probably distinct it by the biome.
