Hi friends, just saying hello while downloading the "daily" release
Please Greg, make 3 releases per day, it's hard to wait 24h00 between each !Of course this was a joke
I think its fine how it is.You can't rush perfection.
Edit: You edited it after i started.

Greg, what do you think about hafnium? Its general use is in nuclear reactor control rods, not sure what applications it could be used for, perhaps, as something similar to a heat vent, but more efficient.
-
In this case I hope it won't be useful to generate even more EU / ura, but only to craft the nuke, because otherwise everybody would use it uracells and turns it into Plutonium cells. Maybe I misunderstand and it was meanted to be produced from depleted Plutonium cells ?
What I was talking about was a machine that uses EU to breed Plutonium from uranium, but that was my first idea. Then i came up with the idea of having a plutonium as a possible byproduct (Like Depleted uranium cells from uranium), and then the idea of it only having a chance to happen when next to a possible reactor component, a "deuteron reflector". I think he is talking about "Plutoniumbreedingcells" being the byproduct of uranium like depleted uranium cells.
Edit: They create heat, but not EU
-
What about the slightly possible byproduct part?
-
Greg what did you think about my suggestion in the last page or so?
Edit: page 77
-
Finnally, a post in weeks.Got to make it and have NEI to see it.
-
dont see why they would be single use, if you make a mortar, then you should get more than one use, it would be crazy if there was only single use swords and pickaxes.
-
Is the Pestle and Mortar supposed to get used up every time you try to use it?
by "used up" do you mean disappearing when used in a recipe or as having a damage bar?
-
I love this thread, at this time, there are 9 members and 32 guests on its 77 pages, has this site ever had a thread (other than the public releases) be this active?
GregTech is getting popular, isn't it? Its only going to get better.

It appears that you can use other circuit like components from other mods in your recipes in place of circuits. Such as, electron tubes and circuit boards from forestry, several logic gates and chipsets from buildcraft and some circuits from railcraft. Is this intended functionality? It seems to be illogical in that each one is created with completely different resource sets and are quite likely not balanced. If this is intended would it be possible to add a config option to disable it?
I apologize if I missed an explanation or announcement on this. I did spent some amount of time searching.
dude, the crafting table only has 9 boxes.
Edit: Check the configs
-
Wait, what? GregTech is actually coded to detect ID Resolver, and then forces an error message and a halt when it detects it. That's not ID Resolver's fault.
Please don't spam those
Edit: Are we supposed to say anything about invisible people?

Make U-cells be crafted into U-238 Cells (To make plutonium), then just use a normal breeder.
You know a lot about nuclear engineering, being a windmill engineer/janitor
Edit: Sounds reasonable, but to make plutonium you would need deuteron reflectors (I am guessing that in decay it gives it off) to throw back deuterons causing bombardment, thus making plutonium.
-
Thank-you for not making this compatible with ID Resolver.
ID Resolver is the only way I can get my host of mods to co-operate, without spending an exceedingly long time manually mapping out IDs manually. It's solved far more problems than it's created for me. I don't see the big deal with it. Note that I also have to contend with mods written for ModLoader, where they are not able to hook into the BlockID config.
Your error message suggests you've actually gone to the trouble of coding against ID Resolver. Just remove it, and then people like me will actually be able to see what this mod is about, rather than just not installing it.
ID resolver is the thing that makes the problem, such as yours.
Edit: Greg, would you tell the young man (or woman) what you think of ID resolver.

You should probably change where it mentions that you will need something like redpower on http://gregtech-addon.wikispaces.com/Fusionreactor as with the buffers and translocators you can now automate it without redpower or BC.
a thing i don't like about that fusion reactor page on the wiki, is that diagram. You should take pictures of a set up in minecraft and put it in the page.

A suggestion: a special block that is similar to nuclear reactors (actually is one) but takes EU to make plutonium, called a breeder. I know there are breeder class reactors, but this would have the sole purpose to create plutonium.Perhaps, (if possible) have plutonium a slight possible byproduct of uranium decay in the reactor (Like depleted uranium) Or if you want to go into more realistic terms, it can only happen if there is a deuteron reflector(another possible item) next to a uranium cell. A question, can you do this?

-
It would be interesting to have a bomb that varies in yield by setup, like the nuclear reactor
-
The farlands supports GregTech

I can't be as easy to make as the Gregtech nuke. It must require Special neutron reflectors, hard to create lithium dueteride, and a crafted blanket of depleted uranium. It should be OP, considering how much work should go into it.
Edit: I should mention, you posted right before i did.
Edit2: btw Is it possible to make a nuke cannon?
