SO THAT'S WHAT LF STANDS FOR! Latest-Forge! o.o
i Tried 184 and 201 but i dosent helps.
Well, at least now you won't get (some) console spam
The alternate link leads to Player's Jenkins page, which has all the snapshots. http://ic2api.player.to:8080/IC2_lf
And I'm assuming ChickenBones forgot to update the info, since the first Latest News is: "Fixed spotloader drop bug"
I used the build you linked to, and it didn't fix it. What is a spotloader? My Google Fu must be lacking...
If your spam is: [stuff] isn't connected to the eNet
then that hasn't been fixed yet.
Chickenbones has a Chunkloading mod that includes spotloaders, they basically only chunkload the spot they're sitting on or something like that.
The error is telling you that there's a machine in an unloaded chunk trying to emit energy, but it can't. Ignore it if you want.
Pretty sure they're the same-they apparently get updated at the same time.
This probably won't fix anything, but try updating to the snapshot builds, at least .184, found here: http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/ic2_lf/
(1.112.184+fixes some console spam)
READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!
!! Asking for release dates = Ban !!
If you're using IC2 1.111, update to 1.112 beta for 1.4.6/7 (found at the top of this sub-forum).
Also, DO NOT delete the META-INF folder inside Forge.
Have you tried FTB yet?
To the op, yes, I believe players also have to install it on their clients, although I am not certain about that as recent versions of IC2 have not added anything new funcionality wide and are for the same version of Minecraft.
Yes, but not for a server
I also haven't tried manually changing the mods-that's why I'm using a normal, modded Minecraft.
Uh, I don't think that's how it works.
You're still getting Block ID conflicts, just do trial-and-error.
I'm trying to find (or atleast understand) what is the latest version of the beta of this addon. Is there a central site that is the master of this?
I see in this thread there are links to drop box accounts, a jenkins account. Is the Jenkins account (http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2_lf/) built of the current official working source, or is it someone else's dump of the code? (if that is the official beta builds, what is the difference between http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2/ and http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2_lf/ ?)
To my best understanding, IC2 and IC2_lf get built at the same time. So yes, they are the same, and it is the official source.
You can't, since you're running a modpack. The end.
If you decide not to, download the following IC2 snapshot: http://ic2api.player.to:8080/j…lcraft-2_1.112.184-lf.jar or above.
Display MoreSorry about the quote spam, I was replying from my phone and it apparently doesn't like this forum software. I didn't notice any link in your original message, but now that I looked again it's there, so thank you.
And the snark wasn't intended for you, but for the person complaining that I was the fifth person to bring this up. My reply about not living on the forums was directed at him.
And, yes, I know how to navigate a forum, I've been using them since before the internet existed (through BBSes). The point I was trying to make is that I have neither the time nor inclination to read through more than 3 pages of posts to see if people have brought up the issue I'm dealing with. This wasn't in the last three, so here I am.
Well, you won't believe how many people I've met who don't know what a "post" is...
Hope your problem is solved. If it isn't, spotloaders!
In addition, we're not going to help you if it's a bug. Why? You're on a 1.2.5 version. The latest version is 1.4.7 (albeit Beta).
*SNIP*
Edit: This discussion will be more exciting if there is both Buildcraft owner (Spacetoad or Sengir) and RP2 owner (Eloraam) here....
Couldn't resist quoting you...sorry P: There is now a BuildCraft team, comprised of SirSengir, cpw, CovertJaguar, Pahimar, and others that have direct access to editing BuildCraft, along with the other ~7 billion who could make a pull request.
As for UE, I personally haven't tried it, since the first mod I ever tried was RailCraft, which told me it was a nice idea to install IC2 and BuildCraft...
The way you made this message is so confusing that I can barely read it. But yes, there is a new version LIKE I LINKED YOU TO. And there's a nice little page button at the bottom-left of the page SO YOU CAN READ OLD POSTS.
IndustrialCraft2 works with Minecraft 1.4.7??Please help me!! When I instal the mod my minecrfat have a crash....
It might help if you post a crash report...*hint hint*
DON'T PEOPLE READ? IT'S ALREADY BEEN SAID THAT MIDAS DOESN'T WORK
Wrong version of IC2, use 1.112 Beta for 1.4.6/7
I suggest you use this version if you want to reduce Console energy spam.
