Instead of a rant, how about a solution?
I think the wiki can be updated with information while retaining it's 'hayo.' it sounds like most of the problem can be solved with a format being set for the wiki pages.
some people want the crunched numbers, they can put them on the page toward the bottom (in a spoiler tag? don't know if wiki has that) or on another page, while the 'hayo' descriptions and such remain at the top. If people are coming to the wiki, they are looking for information, but that information does not have to be dull "this does this when configured like this." If AL doesn't want the uum recipes on the wiki, then so be it. There is a ton of other things that can be posted. I personally think a list of the 'crunched' numbers might help addon creators balance their addons in certain situations, but not everyone wants to know that "the recycler uses [x] equation when calculating scrap production."

I see no reason we (the community and devs) can't work this out.

The HAYO has been added as a subsection already.

anyone can post anything on wiki, provided solution extremely ineffective and time consuming, much more effective to create same world with creative and fly around, but nothing about this on wiki.

ah yes AMIDST most effective way possible, as already stated two times and stated in wiki.

It's even faster now that you can recreate the world with vanilla MC in Creative.

ok ive recently got a supply of gunpowder going on so started using dynamite to mine. I like using the dynamote but its quite tedious having to individually right click each stick of dynamite you have laid out first, like if you do 6 at a time for example.

So I was wondering could you include an option, say if you were to shift right click that it would instantly link all currently placed dynamite to the dynamote. :D

Would be exploitable in multiplayer. Just spam-click the dynamite-o-mote or have a RP2 deployer with a pulsar attached to spam-click the dynamite-o-mote.

Could you add an Engine Sensor Kit? Recipe would be Iron Gear (if BC is installed)/Tin Gear (if Forestry or TE is installed)/Gold Ingot (if otherwise), paper and electronic circuit.

It works for all BC-registered engines except Redstone Engine.

It would have the following information:

    • Linked Device
    • Stored MJ
    • Engine Heat
    • Engine Output
    • Special: Heat gained per second
    • Special: Heat lost per second

My one and only suggestion would be to implement Cable Facades for IC2 Power cables, specifically the Glass Fibre Cable.

I'm honestly not sure how difficult something like that would be, but It would be a welcome addition to the mod I believe as hiding all your IC2 (especially later on in game) can become difficult.

This has been suggested multiple times already, under the guise of either RP2 covers/BC facades.
You can hide IC2 wiring with Construction Foam and you can insta-solidify it with a certain powdery, yellowish and dry substance.
There is also a mod named Immibis' Microblocks that adds microblocks which can cover BC, TE and IC2 stuff. However, it is kind of buggy at the moment (by the looks of the recent posts in Immibis' thread.)

Ore-finding tools are kind of overpowered if not balanced very well. (mainly because of EE3).

The concept is good, but the recipe and energy costs should be pretty well balanced.

I also don't know how should the energy costs be calculated, but my suggestion for a more balanced recipe would be to make it Tier-3 and UUM only. Such as replacing 2 of the gold dust with UUM, and the other gold dust with glowstone dust, the theory being using the stimulation of UUM with energy to produce "rays" that detect ore blocks and use glowstone dust to "mark" them, then use the other UUM to detect number of "marked" blocks.

Additionally, for such as powerful tool, it must be Tier-3, so lapotrons and glass fibre.

I also support it, even if I think it has already be implemented. However, farming cow is quite easy .

    Easy to automate too, but

Not everybody likes to use OP Soul Shards. (myself excluded).

Theoretically it would be possible to make a cow-breeding station with feed stations that wash the calf to a 20-min cobweb timer (causing the calf to grow up) and kills the cow.

Seriously, with the type of machines you've described there (except for the Adv. Machines), we'll need something even more advanced than GT Highlyadvanced Machine Blocks. Something that costs 4 Nether Stars and 4 Iridium Plates, for example. Let me calculate the expenses. (Rates are in default IC2 without GT)

Gravitational Generator "does not gen alot" but it is still a Green Gen, and it happens to be kind of cheap, as I have no idea what "not gen alot" means. To me, at the end game, "does not gen alot" is roughly 400 EU/t. I have no idea how much it costs, due to you didn't specify how much iron it needed, but I shall assume you mean fill the rest of the recipe up with iron. It will cost 115.10 UUM to fabricate from scratch. And by the endgame, I doubt you have so little of the below ingredients.

    • 4 UUM
    • 1 Lapis Lazuli
    • 9 Redstone
    • 84 Iron
    • 32 (Cobble)Stone
    • 16 Tin
    • 2 Copper
    • 1.33 Sticky Resin
    • 5 Wood

Dragon Egg Scanner costs 53.35 UUM.
The other scanner? costs Integrated Platings which don't exist anymore. However I shall assume you are talking about the Reactor Plating. That costs 28.33 UUM.
The stand is also very cheap, at a measly cost of 33.78 UUM.

Altogether, they only cost 115.46 UUM to fabricate from energy.

    • 71 Iron
    • 38.5 Copper
    • 3 Glass
    • 6 Coal
    • 13.5 Tin
    • 2 Sticky Resin
    • 2 Redstone
    • 0.25 Wood

With this minimal cost, I expect at least 5x10^8 EU to create a Dragon Egg, as it is meant to be a treasure.
Additionally, if you want more dragon eggs... there's something called /give, or TMI, or NEI.

    Nova Smelter:
Where are the Nether Stars in your recipe? Or other they used to heat up the furnace?
Additionally, it can be abused. Have you ever heard of something called smelting cobblestone to get stone, placing it and breaking it without silktouch to get cobblestone?
Your recipes are again, too cheap, at 147.00 UUM to fabricate from nothing.

    • 89 Iron
    • 59 Copper
    • 18.5 Tin
    • 64 Coal
    • 5 Wood
    • 10 Redstone
    • 4 Glass

If you plan on the Nether Stars to heat up the furnace, I would advise that they last for about 40 operations per Nether Star.

    Abstract Compressor

    • 376 Iron
    • 33 Copper
    • 73 Tin
    • 9.33 Sticky Resin
    • 40 Redstone
    • 140 (Cobble)Stone
    • 4 Lapis Lazuli
    • 16 UUM

The abstract compressor is slightly more balanced than the others, at 538.44 UUM, however I still think it is unbalance, mainly because of the infinite Compressed Coal Ball and Advanced Alloy part, as 1x Sand --> 1x Sandstone. And if you think of it, sand is nearly infinite in deserts, and infinite in macerating cobblestone.

Overall: Your recipes are not well thought out, extremely unbalanced. (If you hadposted this in the Suggestions forum, get ready for 101 days of pitchfork mobs.) Addon author, if you are reading this, I hope you will not consider adding his ideas directly, as it is, well, EE2 reincarnated.
