lol go to the end and smack endermen for 5 minutes, get enough ender pearls to load 9 chunks for a year.
A. I don't use mobfarms
B. I have a mod that makes endermen in the end not drop enderpearls -
I definitely use them, but I usually use RC's ones which require a fuel, simply so that It doesn't turn into a overnight keep-game-loaded deal.

No idea about items, but blocks definitely need separate code. IC2 also has its own texture render code, which might be problematic.

I strongly recommend just creating a new world. Shifting between entire modpacks is not a good idea

Also update to 1.6.4 :p
If that doesnt work, try temporarily deleting Galacticraft/Co. I remember some wierd bugs with it.
