Reactors fairly soon are getting another redo, since the ultimate plan is to have realistic reactors with a nuclear boiler, water usage, steam output and turbine usage.
Ice would not fit with this, so it wont be readded into ic2.
Even then, Ice reactors were incredibly overpowered because it allowed for very cheap stupidly high power reactors at minimum risk or effort. -

Turns out my security settings are blocking V4 from running at all, even though I have Chrome set to allow all sites to run java. I even made an exception and it still won't allow me. Weird.

What exactly CHANGED in the 1.8 skin thing? What are the advantages?

Hoover Dam and Niagara Falls Dam would respectfully disagree with you. Hence why I mentioned checking for a steep drop.But a steep drop is very easy to make, and the water doesn't travel down it (because its infinite) so making it check for waterfalls for an energy boost wouldnt really make much sense if the water isnt moving from its place.

This is the Random IC2 Chat so I'm posting this here
I'm using IC2 Exp. build 370. I use Advanced Solar Panels, which includes a Molecular Transformer. To craft, it requires an MV-Transformer, which doesn't have a recipe in NEI. Was it changed/removed?
No, the mv transformer should still have a recipe... odd....
I dont think it changed from the old one either. -
It would make more sense to have it in the sea, since the sea in one area transfers more kinetic energy then a river (Well, minecrafts rivers, since they ara tiny)
Besides, no one makes there base over sea anymore

With NEI, Turn it to "Recipe" mode in the "options" button in your inventory. It makes it so that you can only click for recipes.
