Then when you have your reactor set up, fill the gui (on the hatch) with coolant. Apply a redstone signal to the redstone port and the reactor will output hot coolant. Take this and either can it (and put into heat exchanger), or place a heat exchanger next to the fluid port and put a fluid upgrade thingy in the direction of the heat exchanger inside the fluid port. Then hook a sterling engine (the two copper bits need to be facing eachother) up to the heat exchanger.

"hard mode", "easy mode" and "FTB mode"
"Easy mode" "Pathetically easy mode" "Literally Creative mode"

I assume the fluid regulator is the best method of putting cold coolant back into a reactor?
Edit: Well it probably would be, but I crashed upon the first bucket being put in D: http://pastebin.com/9AktzXaw

You're not meant to mix Universal Fluid Cells and normal Empty Cells. Universal Cells are better in every way anywayI wasn't, the machine is simply putting the empty UF cells in the wrong slot.
-
Wow, I didn't realise you were going for the full system
Okay, I found a bug with the heat exchanger. When the Hot coolant cells are used up, they deposit the universal fluid cell in the second slot of the cold part of the heat exchanger, However the exchanger only uses empty cells from the first cold slot, not the second, so it jams the machine.

Remove the old reactors >:D
Suggestions:
Perhaps, since the reactors are much more like irl nuclear boilers, a Pressure valve (Which displays EU/t and Heat level, instead of in the main GUI) could be added somewhere on the outside. There should also be a high tensile strength (Just a bunch of iron plating) frame for the reactor, since the lead is only needed as a radiation shield and doesn't make for very good structural support (Since you need a strong edge if you are going to have a square boiler). Perhaps later a "Reactor alarm" could be added which lets of a nice loud siren to tell you your reactor is about to explode ;DUnrelated, but does each fluid port only let in/out a certain amount of fluid per tick or is it infinite?

First you need to take several blocks of lead, and shove them in your mouth.
Chew, foo'. -
Also sirus... look this "inconsistency"...
That was due to TD inserting an old test pack instead of the actual one. It got fixed like 5 versions ago omfg

About a month ago I noticed a slight flaw made from the original MachineBlock texture I made...
Red, Bad D: Blue, GoodSince I am lazy as shite, I need someone to go through all the textures fixing this mistake (it occurs on the darker 5xplates too). A simple 4 pixel change per bit should suffice :3To the person who fixes this and gives me the fixed blocks folder, I shall reward them with likeness and a firm handshake.
FINE SINCE YOU ALL SUCK I WILL DO IT MYSELF OMFG -
Anyone know how this GUI works
I'm pretty sure you put in water (maybe coolant too?) and it outputs steam (Hot coolant?). quite simple.
-
What the hell is that rubber coated copper plate?
Right, one last texture to do then... -
Which is fair enough, as I said in the PM.

Can you post an image of the recipes for the heat exchanger/Stirling engine, along with the plasma launcher, if they have one?
-
No, I have had a stock pile of textures for about 4 months neither Greg, player nor thunderdark have added even though I have given it to them several times :p
-
Yay, new textures to do, which hopefully someone will add... *hint hint*

3 years and only 260Mb... wow, posts really aren't worth much xD

Does anyone know when this forum originally started?
