It's a shame they've stopped with the Sphax patch, it was a very good one. Thing is though, we were getting updates daily at least for weeks, each adding or changing stuff, so it would be very hard to keep up making textures with so much change. Especially with the reactor and steam generator GUIs changing, 10 builds and your work could be irrelevant. I don't know of any high resolution texture packs that are fully updated anymore, I'm not even sure if there are any now.

Refined Iron is ore dictionary'd with steel anyway, so making it from steel dust seems unnecessary, unless you want the only way to make steel by using the blast furnace.

Greg's file naming structure (and said files) baffles Backdraft. In case anyone complains it's IC2 related quotes and therefore must be text, a picture speaks 1000 words, so there's 6000

Even thought it has all the heat it needs it starts flipping on and of producing steam and distilled water . To fix it i have to manually set the output to 1 mb per tick so it starts producing superheated steam again and then increase it to 2 mm/tick.
I get similar things starting up single player worlds. Even on 1mb/t, when the world first loads, or I update IC2 especially, it will produce normal steam for a few ticks, and I know it is, since I have an overflow steam tank that only fills up when that breaks. I haven't really found any fixes for that, past making sure that the system would work even if steam was going through it. Not experienced the 2mb/t superheated steam bug though.

this thread is sort of done. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to lock it.
They'll still be someone who doesn't read the giant green text and thinks the mod's dead because of that

It seems that in the current build the kinetic steam turbines don't actually consume the steam turbine
It's been like this for an hour right now.
Feature. Turbines are expensive!

I'm curious: have you actually tried setting up a simple 1 fuel rod and 1 heat vent reactor and left it running for a full cycle connected to an MFE or MFSU with nothing else connected and confirmed that it generates exactly 2 million EU?
That's the funnier thing, it doesn't. Like not even close. Last time I tried it made 5 million EU. I don't remember if I attached anything else to it during the 5 and a half hours it was running, but it definitely wasn't near 2 million.

I have a decent amount of (mostly working) Minetweaker code for making the recipes more old IC2 like. Bending things like using UU cells to imitate solid UU crafting recipe wise, adding ingots to recipes instead of plates or the old CF recipe (that might even work filling up in a crafting table). Not finished it yet though.

Guys, new IC2 build changed something about MOX in the 5x5. Not sure what though. Someone should probably test it.
I asked Thunderdark on IRC, and he gave an in-depth response:
Quote[15:37:40] <Chocohead> OMG Build 647
[15:46:47] <Chocohead> Wonder what Thunderdark did to MOX fuels...
[15:59:19] <+Thunderdark> Chocohead i make easyer to controllSo there's a start.

just don't let it get to 100% ? or ?
Pretty much.
either its too easy to make with another boiler and clean up by removing or solar distiller needs to be faster
Solar Distiller takes 1 hour to turn 1 bucket of water into 1 bucket of distilled water in a normal temperature biome. Breaking and replacing it to fix it is a pain, so distilled water is much better. Why does the solar distiller need to be faster?

OMG, it's alive! Might be a few rounding issues with the power production, 1 uranium fuel rod seems to generate 1,999,900EU not 2,000,000EU.

and the calcification reset should be a bug.
No, it's meant to just be placed back down to fix it. It's designed to push you to use distilled water or maintain your water powered turbines (I think).

Emm....it just crashes when I try to start it
Me too. A java exception occurs

That's the old config style from ages ago, it's not surprising it doesn't work right
