What cool designs are you thinking that we can't already do? Past spreading some existing ones out, I can't imagine many.

Alternatively, Thunderdark can also add a Brewing analyser tool, which tells you the number of IRL your liquid has brewed, the actual state of the liquid (beer, Dragonblood...) and the number of IRL time your liquid need to take to go on the next level of strength.
Never thought of that, as it always seemed to break with Alblaka's desired guessing, but that's a nice suggestion. Would rather have an instant debug brewer over it however -
As fun as brewing is, doing testing on it is incredibly grindy, especially since Dragonblood takes over an IRL day to brew.
Can there be a debug item that can rush brew/set how long a barrel has been brewing, so that the drink can be finished instantly, avoiding the hours of waiting just to get information for the wiki and something useful to actually use in survival?

Needs more nano stuff. How about a nano-sabre?

how doe sthe pump drain .. like the miner? how far of a radius
Also the universal cells are AWESOME!!! they take a bit to make .. but stackable and reusable.. much better then the old tin cans of yore
Pretty sure the Miner now ignores liquid from what I heard from Thunderdark on Quetzi's stream, but never actually tried putting the 2 next to each other. The radius of the pump is big, but I never determined how big big is.
I still like the old tin cans

Yes there is.

With the latest IC2, 1080 is the minimum, but I'm using 1199 and it's all working fine.

In a spoiler or pastebin too. I'm done with scrolling through half the log, let alone the whole thing!

(this is a typo Thunderdark...)
I posted it on the bug tracker when it was added, and it was meant to be fixed. So I posted it back a few hours ago.And the pump now empties pools at the same level as it's on. So it's actually useful now

The IC2 pump works great on draining the nether lava, so you're only problem is taking them from the nether to the overworld. Universal Fluid cells after all stack and can be used to put lava in the world.
BTW, distilled water can be placed in the nether, and that makes obsidian when it hits lava, so you could make it without even needing to move the lava -
I'm sure I'll find a use for it. Maybe.

The whole draining rubber from the tree sounds similar to what was added to IHL Machines. Why do you want to rotate rubber tree logs anyway?
<- How could you not love that?
Automating rubber trees sounds nice, since without Forestry there's no way to do it, but plastics not so much. Plastics mainly come from oil, and we have much fancier things like carbon plates. Will the leaves dying drop saplings?

Since the normal windmills have sound when you're near them and they're working (unless I'm going crazy), can the giant kinetic windmills have sounds too, since it seems strange how big rotors make no noise yet no rotors at all make you think you're just hearing things

- Are the steam "explosions" completely normal?
No, that means you are loosing water or distilled water from the boiler. You need to have a condenser either directly attached to the boiler, or to a steam turbine that is getting steam.
- Is there any benefit to having a higher temperature and hence pressure?
Only if you want superheated steam. 220 bars is the lowest superheated steam needs, any higher is unnecessary. If you just want steam, 0 bars is fine.
- How are the Kinetic Steam Generator and Kinetic Generator aligned?
When you place them, the face that either outputs or inputs kinetic units is the one that faces you when you place it. This can be changed with a wrench.

More fun stuff added, but what Thunderdark is the item buffer actually for?
I get that there are 2 colours, 4 blue sides and 2 green sides. The colour of the sides that an item enters in determines which side of the GUI it comes into. But outputting (with an ejector upgrade), it can go into any side, including the one it's come from. You also can't change the colour of the sides (or at least not rotate them with a wrench), which leads me to believe that the item buffer has an intended use that I'm just missing, or that it's new and needs more work on.
Is it unfinished? Does it have an intended use, or is it designed to work for many things? And can you change which colours sides are?

1 EU every 100 buckets of water
That almost seem like you might as well make a normal one in passive mode, since that makes 0.25EU for free, rather than needing 25 buckets of water and 2 diamonds
