MFR has it's magic, do anything blocks which people don't seem to like, Thaumic Tinkerer I'm not completely sure about, but the KAMI stuff is really just Thaumcraft's own Quantum Suit and I'm pretty sure Buildcraft was so that you used Gregtech's piping over Buildcraft's much cheaper ones.

Must be between Y 44 and 64.
I think 50 to 70 would be better, I've found rivers at Y 69 before. And maybe a config option if you have a biome mod which changes the land height, or adds a river/ocean like biome too.

What's benefit to using the tidal watermill then? It damages the rotor more, it produces less power, and you nearly drown trying to place it
I agree that watermills could do with some love though. Using 4 of them to power a recycler is about the extent of which they're useful currently.

This has been discussed before, but now Minecraft actually has some cool loot from fishing, I'll bring it up again.
Electric Fishing rods is all we're missing from our IC2 electric tool arsenal. And, since there are enchantments for rods now, there could be an upgraded version using diamonds to get luck of the sea and lure. And if really necessary, there could be an iridium one which adds even better version of the enchants.

Yeah, although lava is the best way of heating it IMO, it takes a lot.You could also get rid of one of your canning machines by putting cells in the top left slot in the 2nd canning machine (the one which makes the coolant).

I like both the ideas, but I'm pretty sure distilled water is a little more than just condensed water vapour IRL, so just gathering from the environment kinda skips the boiler tree too much for me.
As for the solar heater, I really like the concept, and can see it being a little useless, but cheap too. So it kinda balances out. -

Does that mean that the cube is the same for all of the windmill types? Is it a cube or a cuboid, does the fact that the rotor blades get longer just affect the width and height, or the depth too? -

Although not much has changed for the majority of IC2.
The recipes have, which is majority that needs doing. That and all the new heat and rotation machines. And new EU machines. -

I couldn't find that line in IC2.ini using industrialcraft-2-2.2.522-experimental.jar
You'll need to update IC2, it was added in a newer build than that.

536 is a little broken steam generator wise. You can heat the boiler to 200 C, while the water hadn't even reached 35. I managed to blow a boiler up at somewhere around 250 C, with the water at something like 36. Thunderdark, expain!
And for the record, about 450 heat seems to be the balance before the boiler heating outstrips the water's.

No, the canning machine recipes are either mistaqur's fault, or broken completely.

As long as you have a canning machine for the distilled water and lapis dust in, yes.

We'd been saying that we'd update since IC2 started changing things in experimental but no one ever did. If some one actually did though, then FTB would have a fit. Suddenly their secondary criticism of IC2 would be gone!
