They just want to be "unique", to the point it is ridiculous.
Unique isn't strictly accurate. At least they stick to a system. In the UK, we get Milk and beer in pints, and distances on roads in yards and miles, but shorter distances in metres and weigh things in grams. Mixing and not matching

No waaaaay. Much more mods, much less complaining. If you couldn't mod you gave up. Now, anyone thinks they can. -
If something's open source, then you should be allowed to adjust it to fit your purpose. As long as it doesn't break anything else, I can't see what's wrong

I miss 1.2.5, where you had Modloader, Modloader MP, AND forge. Then you had every major mod, half of which went in the jar too. 1.6 is child's play.
