I might check it out and see what's going on with tech reborn, but also without a full wiki / ability to look over everything the mod has. If it's as complex as GT was even then without any reference, there's a lot undiscovered and no way the added machines ect would be difficult to find.
It functions pretty closely to Gregtech 2, just with stolen bits of IC2 in mixed in as well. The JEI support is pretty good too, so it's not bad to work out how to do things.

Thanks mate, that was it. Now I have an Advanced Circuit and an Advanced Machine Casing... what to do with them??
Save them for crafting something else later. You could use the circuit for an electric jetpack and the casing for a thermal centrifuge for example.

It's recipe changed to be cheaper so it can be used earlier on in the game. Pretty sure the recipe is circuit on top, basic machine casing in the middle and motor on the bottom, but that's from memory so I might be wrong. I strongly recommend you get JEI and use that for checking crafting recipes as quite a few have changed but the wikis haven't yet.

Also that effects every machine equally.
I expect you could stop the electric furnace sounds by replacing the sound file with a 0 second one via a resource pack.

It's config file allows you to turn on and off everything it does.

With the e-net being worked on it was disabled, but it was never finished so remains disabled.
You can use the Uncomplication addon as a solution, remember to turn off the recipe changes if you don't want them.

How do you figure that? 40M/30k = 1333 ticks = 66.7 seconds to fill an empty MFSU.That's implying it's windy enough to generate the KU needed, a minute of generating that much is only going to happen in a storm.

It's nothing to the level RF generation gets to. Also 30kEU/t is still going to take a long time to refill an MFSU if you've teleported a long way.

What we really need now is compact heat generators and we'll have the whole set of compact power generation.

It was only added to world gen for the sake of another material to replace the old reactor recipes, so I suppose it not being used for anything else is a side effect of that.

It might not even be that the lead costs are too low, it could just be lead ore is too rare. But the output and spawn rates can be increased if wanted in the configs.
And 1.8.9 doesn't force you to make a fluid reactor in anyway.

Minecraft 1.6.2 was an awful long time ago now, and cross mod compat wasn't especially a thing until everything had stabilised more on 1.6.4

All the normal crafting recipes work, it's just the machine recipes that don't show in JEI.
But in this instance the Basic Machine Casing recipe hasn't changed.

Just one little suggestion about the link for 1.7.10 in the OP: At the moment it points directly to build 71. Better would be a link to the layer above (http://ci.aroma1997.org/job/Uncomplication/) which always points to the newest build for 1.7.10.
Considering builds 72+ are for 1.8.9, pointing there would only confuse people.
