The UU system works with pretty much anything that uses the normal crafting handler and doesn't use obscure items IC2 can't work out the value of. You can add extra things to it on this line of the config:

What version did you update to 782 from just out of curiosity?

Heat Plating doesn't necessarily help MOX, but it does make Uranium designs a lot safer if you're unsure of how safe a design is. I've made reactors that would've exploded in 5 seconds were it not for heat plating.

It's unlikely it's the pipe, otherwise it'd have issues with loading the input item first. It might well be transmission loads after IC2.

Right now ashes are useless, which means whenever you burn things in a solid heat generator for example you're left with a worthless grey dust. Surely it could be mixed into fertiliser the same way scrap is? Or even, taking a more IRL approach, be used as cat food?

Thought I'd share some results with the last FastCraft build on KCauldron: The world took 36 seconds to generate before FastCraft, and 24 after, in a low ram environment on a modpack with ~150 mods. While KCauldron may improve chunk generation, FastCraft is certainly NOT useless with KCauldron!
As expected really. The KCauldron people only blocked Fastcraft from loading before because "there was nothing it could help with on a server that KCauldron doesn't already do", which seemed an overly bold statement. -

IHL is already rammed full of chemistry, I can't especially see what else you'd want to make that would be useful that isn't already in.

i have this problem too, with the newest build 780...using right recipe and right handle...where can be a problem?
Are you playing SMP? If you are that sounds like the client and server have different versions of IC2, or the server doesn't have it at all.

1.6.4 is unsupported now, so I'd not expect a fix unless someone is feeling overly nice if it is a bug in IC2.
Either way, brewing was and is still so underused bugs like that go unnoticed. It might still happen for all we know, as no one's said anything to where it is broken or not in SMP.
