How many weeks until you actually release the fix?
-
Reactor components come with damage bars when you craft them, there's no way to get a barless one without spawning it in.

I've been trying all morning to disable this in Cauldron and KCauldron, as there is no config option, with no success.
Have you tried this Java argument?
If anyone can successfully modify these for KCauldron, I'd be interested in how you do it.
The commit that added the code (or at least allowed it to be disabled, that was first added here) is here .

It's probably set to false because you've got another mod generating it's version of copper and tin, normally CoFH. Sure you can turn it back on, but you might well end up with 2 different types of copper and tin ore in your world.
-
It wastes it though because the water input and steam output is limited to multiples of 1 and 100
Well yeah that's true. It would've helped if Thunderdark had actually finished it, the one we've got is his unfinished 3rd version. -
It can accept non 100 hU units, the pressure bars sets that. The issue being that it's not 1 bar = 1 hU, it seems more of a complicated scale.

There's no way you'd get any reasonable amount of energy the second time unless the first was massively inefficient.
-
The issue with using coolant coolant is you are suddenly able to use the waste heat energy to generate EU a second time, while using water and evaporating it would be more logical.
-
-
The liquid heat exchanger does exactly what you described
-
You can already generate hU from this, which is the only logical power source it would create. You can just convert the hU into EU or kU instead of having separate generators to bypass the conversion process.

That would probably work with any fast breaking tool, not just GraviSuite's. -
Put a normal folder in the mods folder called "ic2". Then put it in there. I'm not sure how it looks for the library, but I presume as long as it's got ejml in the name it should be able to find it.
