If you do insist on using 1.7.2, you need the ejml library so IC2 can do the E-net maths, the crash would imply it's missing.

Also I've never actually used EnderIO personally but the reason I shy away from it is because from what I've seen it eliminates all routing and plumbing problems. I think those are some key elements in a design and just removing it from the equation isn't as satisfying.
As some one who has used it, it does basically what you say. Sure you can have pretty set-ups, but it all feels to easy, as suddenly even having to wire up your magic RF machines isn't a nuance, MFR needing 3 connections can all be made on one face, as can AE conduit cables cross it and now Open Computers wire. I remember back when there wasn't a way to cover any cable, and now you can run 7 in a block with a façade covering them so it looks like a normal block. I can very much see the appeal to people, but it takes away from using other mod's solutions by being a lot easier. -

Now that recipes can be added via the config rather than jar editing, can the recipe files inside the jar be signed like the rest (or most?) of it is, to prevent problems like this: http://bt.industrial-craft.net/view.php?id=1693?

The server is not guilty! The bug is present in single player.
Then... something else must be doing something silly, or at least different to how Advanced Solars was designed. I could believe it being an IC2 change causing it, it has changed a lot to when the last version of Advanced Solars was released. -

There's no way you can have a net power loss using it without perhaps having overly long fluid regulator pipes to move stuff. But at that point you're moving the coolant too far unnecessarily.

It's just a slower version of the shoutbox. And much better having one post rather than 10 messages in the same minute.

shouldnt this mod be more popular
It should definitely be, the issue is it's an IC2 addon and people just don't care to look for their predetermined opinions of IC2. -
Ahh, you got it almost right. Move one of them to the otherside then the bar in the middle will form. Forgot with the rolling machine it only shows when it is correct.

You place it so that the barrel connects together.

The first bug you highlighted is right about what you're complaining about. More on that below.
The second bug is about not being able to upgrade damaged components. How they were being damaged is the same as the first bug, but as a principle that's working right.Basically right now, when ever a vent or coolant cell is placed in a reactor it acquires a damage bar. Even if there's no reason for it to, such as any vent other than the reactor vent on it's own. The reactor has no heat, the vent cannot receive any heat, so it shouldn't be damaged. This in itself is the bug here. They used to, and should, only get a damage bar once they receive heat and store it, and vents especially shouldn't keep them if they're not receiving heat as they are cooling off. Coolant cells are a little more awkward with heat balancing, but that's just how reactors work. They could be completely cooled still however.
I guess being able to use damaged coolant cells to upgrade them into the next tier might make sense and the damage amount added onto the new one, but for overclockers it should be new. Whether they do or not in the future is irrelevant as the real issue here is the fact they are maintaining heat illogically, and not cooling off completely. It looks like a rounding bug that they might have 1 heat in and round up to 1 rather than down to 0, but that's just an idea and it might well be something else more complicated.

ohh, well thats a simple fix :D. what does 767 even add, anyways?
Support for ticking components, so as an end user nothing. -
-
so i have to go into IC2 directly and change it or something? or just wait for an update to fix it? im sorry, but im pretty sure i misunderstood what you said
All you can do is wait for Foghrye to update. You can always just use build 766 instead of 767 in the mean time. -
i have a bug report. happens on loading up minecraft, i have most recent IC2 and IHL.
Already 2 other mods with this bug, Player's guidance on fixing it: Remove ic2.core.block.TileEntityBlock.updateEntity() final modifier

Support for that was dropped around 2 years ago.
