The figure of speech was clearly never designed for IC2.

You have to use a Metal Former to make refined iron plates, a normal forge hammer won't cut it.

Plasma launchers beams do exploded incredibly violently when fired at water, flamethrowers don't.

Industrial Conflict... Ah the best long forgotten idea.

Good news, I've managed to confirm that it is possible to get to the fractionating column in survival, and everything needed to get it, including the Rolling Machine, the Wooden Rolling Machine, the Wiremill, the Chemical Reactor and the loom. You really don't realise how long the crafting chain is until you make it
Although the fluid tooltips seem to not scale when the window is resized.

The HV solar is just 512 solars with 1 HV-Transformer, 8 MV and 64 LV ones, so it is just compact without any other resource differences from that many solars, apart from a few transformers. The TE one is purely because RF isn't easy enough to generate for free.

Draconic evolution is the Dartcraft of 1.7.10, there's no way to balance it without stupid recipes purely to be inhibitingly expensive.
Botania is hard to do as well with the crafting mechanics largely being one of the mod's features, changing them would be hard to keep the feel.
Blood Magic would have a similar problem with alter recipes not being changeable (I don't think).Forcing people down Thaumcraft to do Vanilla stuff is mean, and you'd most likely run out of aspects even with Greg's million and one items. Theoretically it would be doable though.

Compact solars aren't OP at all when there's no loss with the E-net anyway, it's advanced ones that can seem it, even though by default you need iridium for them. Then again, the molecular assembler can make iridium ingots out of iron for 9 million EU each.

Why the thermal centrifuge? We've got the rolling machine for a reason
-
I guess you could use the block cutting machine and then cut the silicon into wafers, but you'd really need silicon dioxide blocks or something like that.
-
They'd use generators instead of casings anyway.

:O Long tooptip actually helped. I thought it was the same as the normal ones.
-
The tier 2 molds (the ones that need liquid glass and I've been trying to make for a month and a half now) don't appear to accept liquid, or at least the rolling machine one doesn't.
-
One other thing, once you make the fibreglass into mesh, you end up with an 128m length of fibreglass left that's useless as you can't put it back into the coiler to extend it so it can be used.
-
I forgot/never realised I needed one.
So now it works, but there's no output, the glass dust is just consumed. Do I need something else to take the output as well?So that's what the slot in the coiler is for...Looking at it, the coiler is only animated for about 90% of the wire mill's progress, it stops before the glass dust fully processed and is added onto the fibre.
-
I hope you didn't forget put a coiler nearby in properly direction
Uhhhhhh, no.... -
Chocohead, try out new version.
It's reached the closes it's got, but it won't process once the fluids are in. Also you can put seed oil in the water tank, and cells put into the seed oil tank will return empty ones in the water section. -
We renamed tin to tin ingots, copper to copper ingots and bronze to bronze ingots a while ago, not to mention any other mod adding tin would work in the recipe.
-
I thought uranium lasted like 5 hours now anyway.
-
Ohhhhhhh, well I can't help that.
Also, are you sure 0.569 fixed the seed oil bug, as it still won't go in.
