Makes electrolysis seem good

This problem was solved in the shoutbox, so the thread can be archived if one of the mods can be bothered.

Storing food is purely for the realism right, since a chest would also work?
I like the idea of cooling reactor components though, and making ice blocks.
Cooling beer giving it better buffs would be a nice mechanic as well.

Spwn/Greg/Who ever, addon discussion thread maybe?
I'd really like something that made brewing easier, maybe a machine that could be used to read what a booze barrel currently has in it, and how long it has until it changes onto the next type (if it can). An upgraded magnetiser would be cool too to allow you to ride more than 10 iron fences at once, and potentially an upgraded electrolyser to make using one actually worth while.Do you have any specific theme preferences, or are suggestions like those ok?

We could just get Player to bundle IC2 in Fastcraft, that'd get us noticed more.

I knew I should have added that copyright licence.

Curse isn't even made for german projects.
(it isn't even available in german).
Then it's not made for IC2. End of story. We had a long and productive debate about this a few weeks ago, and the closest you'd ever get to IC2 on Curse (or Fastcraft/Sampler for that matter) is a core mod that automatically downloads IC2, so we'd not be hosting anything of value on Curse. That was only an idea though, whether it happens or not is a different matter.

It's designed so the higher tier machines use more power, which is just down to logic. The macerator has used 2 EU/t since it was added too, it does have issues over the fact the ore washing plant and thermal centrifuge especially don't output enough/take too much power for what they do output. Maybe only outputing 1 crushed ore is too harsh, taking the GT approach of the crushed ore outputting 15 nuggets perhaps, to have 1.5x ore doubling, then increasing the output again with the ore washing plant and thermal centrifuge would work.
A macerator is super cheap and requires no power, so it just gives you a couple extra tiny dusts.
I don't like that idea, the macerator is an electric machine, turning it into a slightly better furnace is detracting from it's usefulness and realism.

I could remove the unwanted recipe with GT, but changing recipes of other mods is just asking for drama...
Not really, you're justified if it is breaking a recipe. The only reason Railcraft adds it is so you can still make steel without the blast furnace, and with GT you have other ways of making steel that make it unneeded. -
You know your mod is doing well when it'll illegally being used. Same goes for a lot of things actually.

You'd have to make sure that other mod's steam was pretty bad, otherwise suddenly your big reactor steam overflow provides you with more IC2 power than you ever need.

Things like the iridium neutron reflector make sense, but unless you explicitly say what you'd want as well, Gregtech is too big to just presume/guess.

The funny i tooltip button Thunderdark added says that the 5x5 is meant to output 100% of the uranium's power, while normal reactors are throttled to 50%. Whether that's total output or per tick isn't specified however.
-
is there a setting that I could change in the ini files to work this? not more EU/tick but longer lasting
No, as that'd involve either slowing down reactor ticks or increasing the max metadata of uranium fuel cells. The 5x5 could do with a greater output I agree, the effort in doesn't really equal the amount out. -
Crossbreeding is normally having different types of crops that are (optionally) different tiers, as they seems to change the values the most. Depending on what you're going for depends on what works best, but since there is an aspect of randomness there too, just playing pick and mix with the crops will get you something new after a few runs.

Naaaah, 5x5 MOX is great fun. It's all down to whether you want an impressive looking build, or you want 5 windmills above your house.
