um, BC pipes haven't had a power loss since 1.5 I think
and in 1.6.4 IC2 cables don't have any loss or explode if over powered. That wasn't added back in till 1.7.2 somewhere (maybe)
if you are talking about the teleport pipes from additional BC pipes, those have a configurable loss and I set that to 0 (well 100% transmission rate in the config), I'm using them to telelport power over 2km with no issues.

3 cubic meters? it takes 3 blocks? 1 block = 1 cubic meter.

did you try the items or the blocks? I'm pretty sure it takes blocks of Lapis or RS to recharge them.

go add Universal electricity, Resonant Induction, Railcraft, and Forestry (extra bees/trees and magic bees are optional but help) and all your power needs are simplified, possibly too much, but the challenge here is to devise uses for the power beyond just more quarries and force field projectors.
one small turbine from RI produces enough power for over 40 Forestry stills. Which at 5MJ/t = 200 MJ/t = (1MJ/2.5EU) = 500 EU/t. It wasn't even close to being what the output of that one small turbine was. And a 36HP boiler creates enough steam to run a 3x3 turbine, which is more powerful and efficient than 9 small turbines. Using the batteries you can fully utilize the power from those turbines. even BC power.
You can run that boiler off either charcoal from a tree farm, or you run it off ethanol.
If you are in 1.7.2, BC 6 has the stripped pipes again and you can use them to create a cobblestone generator very easily. so production of scrap won't require quarries going 24/7. -
when the trees are growing and trying to update the same block at the same time is when it crashes
at least that is my theory.
dunno why it is selective on who crashes
I have the same issue and it only seems to pop up with the trees.
and sometimes it won't happen for hours, sometimes 5 times within 30 min.
It is very frustrating -

comes from the trees that are bigger than 1x1, especially if you have a tree farm going.
nothing you can do about it if you want to use the tree farms -

light pipes glass/fiber optic cable that is used to bring sunlight into areas where normal windows/sky lights won't work. like underground structures
what I'd like is glass that could do the same thing. emit light when one glass block is hit by sunlight and they'd be able to "pipe" it anywhere so long as the glass is touching another piece of light pipe glass -

why would you need EU powered forestry machines if we get converters? unless you want upgrade slots.

you aren't going to clean it like using a vacuum cleaner, you will blow it off from about 2-3 inches away.
you should never touch the heatsinks at all. -
never heard of camera craft, it looks cool
and I'd like to see this mod revived
a cheap solution to try for the computer issue is to get some canned air (or some other high velocity method of blowing air) and clean off your heatsinks
that was my problem. My CPU heatsink was clogged behind the fan and I didn't see it. -
AS can be resource heavy, if you try to go straight to the end stage. but you can reuse the reactor chamber from the fission reactor to use in the fusion if you want. and the fusion reactor is meant for massive power generation
but it is no where near as complicated or massive as the one from reactor craft....just find the video on setting that thing up and nothing else will seem complicated. -
go the Universal Electricity route. Pick up, resonant induction and atomic science. The cables from RI can power anything that uses UE, EU, MJ, or RF (I think on the RF)
just be warned, the reactors in AS are undergoing work so they don't work quite right at the moment. -

he's got forge .916 with IC2 version 1.115.231-LF
my guess is wrong version of forge.
