RF Jetpacks are dead: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/2548594-…0#entry30893513
We're talking about this on Greg's forum. From what I can see, there isn't much resemblance, and if what the author said is true, and he took it down to avoid drama, it's horribly backfired. There is just more drama now...
It seems that minetweaker is not ready for 1.7 yet, so we might have to work with the default recipes when we start out.
What mods did we need to change recipes for, and are they actually out yet for 1.7?
Also, I assume the only item that will be used in 1.7 will be the meta items?
Also2, when we do get minetweaker, can we put GT iron plates into the recipes from railcraft, and then use the GT iron plates (steel too) as the railcraft iron plates are ugly textured and don't fit with the other plates at a glance.
A very buggy beta version, that will likely devour your world for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner.
Since when has that stopped us before? ![]()
Hey i was away,
Anyways town doesn't really work with a tech...
it's laggy as hell when you cluster people
it's already laggy with just nono's base
need to be at least 10 chunk away :D,
but we can have a common area.... and rails
I think that was what was intended. A little town ish area, but we will move apart once we advance more, and can use rails to move long distances.
It has been a month since ^. Why are you depriving me of my liquid dyes? ![]()
EDIT2: Apparently, you can also disable the arcane mirrors in the config, if you want to. Though, they are rather useful for making infusion set-ups prettier.
I think you can do that with AE2 now, but I may be mistaken.
In between revision, I'm going to start base designing.
Are we still deciding between underground biomes and pfaa (or whatever)?
Sadly, Nonotan has been missing for a while now. Looks like this guide won't get updated unless someone else does something similar, or he comes back.
Thaumcraft for 1.7! Now we really are just waiting for Greg ![]()
I've voted pro-Thaumcraft. Why? Because of the following:
It is very scientific, and science even though being about magic is still science.
Generating Matter using it is even more difficult than UUM, since you need a whole new contraption depending on the Output.
The Contraptions you can build in Thaumcraft are very complex and fit very well to the aspect of making Factories.Oh and I pinned this Thread to the top.
Happy 8000 posts ![]()
This is the reason that I voted for thaumcraft too. Also, because I'd love some more compatibility between TC and GT.
I tried suggesting a way to get that water from EU powered machines... I don't want to use forestry's squeezer. I dislike MJ powered stuff because they waste energy.
I suggested to linus a bit back that he make a forestry addon with EU versions of everything.
Gravity mod: Looks awesome, could potentially fit in with maybe some recipe tweaks. Is it updated to 1.7?
Expanded Redstone: I don't think it works in the pack, but that's just my opinion.
Why don't we make the Reactor output steam since this is a hardmode server and have railcraft installed?
I was on IRC yesterday, and I think I remember player saying that config wasn't implemented currently, but would return soon.
Make it a crafting recipe, then. maybe 4-8 cactus + bucket = water bucket.
Also, drain cover produces water in the rain.
Then that defeats the purpose of having the advanced water producing recipes in teh first place. Also, while drain cover would be nice, it is supposed to be more advanced tech than the water tank, which generates water really slowly. I like the water tanks more than other ways of generating water, even just having loads of buckets and putting water into machines, which is the cheapest and easiest way. It just, feels right. Water is infinite anyway, so why not have this done by a 'machine' instead?
Squeezing cactus, or I suppose we could add a canning or crafting recipe producing a water cell/bucket from cactus or something. Also, electrolyzing sugar.
It would also be great if we added an early-game recipe for the Drain cover, especially if the drain produces water if placed on top of a GT pipe.
Or if there's a way to disable the eternal water gen of water tanks they wouldn't be quite as OP. Personally, I think that having a way to passively gen water at all times, anywhere, defeats much of the purpose of finite water.
All of those using squeezing or electrolysing are too far advanced for where the passive water gen is needed, the bronze age!
Drain cover still needs water source blocks if I am not mistaken?
i am getting "bad login" lately, can someone help or explain? I want to know if i am the only one having this daily.
Try closing the launcher completely, and reopening it. Mojang servers aren't down. https://help.mojang.com/
