I'm honestly not a fan of turning a simple dye generator into something that effectively destroys the world. It's either going to be really OP and cause the server to have wasteland all over, or be completely unused and wasting a block.
This is kinda what I was thinking.Also, this mod does way more than dyes now, maybe a rename or at least changing "Getting your Dyes to the next level!".

I usually really wanted to play it, but EA just pisses me off so much I am not buying their games anymore (also, I really would have liked ME3 on Steam)
Even so, I just want to play it. I tried to get it, you know, but I couldn't find anything. Oh well, one of my friends might have it.

What exactly CHANGED in the 1.8 skin thing? What are the advantages?
Right and left arms and legs are now editable independently
Uses a char.png file with new layout and new dimensions
Dimensions for the file are now 64x64
Overlay now includes the whole body (So I can have a 'hat' all over my skin).
Overlays are called hat, jacket, sleeves and pants legs
New "Skin Customization" button in the options menu
Cape visibility is now toggled from here
You can toggle the visibility of overlays, independent for each limb/body part (bruce wayne into batman seems to be common on reddit).
Skins are less likely to reset to default in-game
Changing skins is more instant in servers

It's just meant to be another pretty block to build with. No need for geology.
Even so, am hoping Greg does something about it, even if just removing the crafting recipes for them, so he can add dust forms of them. -
Diorite can be crafted with 2 Cobblestone and 2 Nether Quartz in a checker board pattern
Andesite can be crafted with 1 Cobblestone and 1 Diorite
Granite can be crafted with 1 Nether Quartz and 1 DioriteThey also spawn like this:
