You can probably ask Myrathi for permission to make and use a modified version of the mod. Since he isn't maintaining this, I doubt he'd mind.

Anyone know a way of automating the loading and unloading of energy crystals in the charge pad for 1.6.4?
I realise the direct hooking up to power doesn't work, but manually putting in batteries does. I'm able to setup an automatic way of charging the energy crystals, but so far haven't found an automated way of loading/unloading them from the pads. I thought AE might do it, but it wont load or extract using the import/export buses
Is there another way to load and eject from the battery slot in the pads?
Perhaps the author might consider making the mod compatible with AE import/export buses?
I really doubt the mod author will give an update this old addon.

You can port it to 1.6.4 (or an even older version) if you have the patience to, it's under the MIT license.

I am notorious for making new projects and never finishing them, so maybe I can actual release something new and still make updates to this mod and other mods my shadow covers. And document/fix things on the FTB Wiki. And clone myself. -

Just to inform you all, this mod, along with my port, and Zuxelus' port, have been re-licensed under the Creative-Commons-Blaha-Blaha-No-Commercial-Sharealike License . This is because I pooled the original authors to do so, due to the fact their custom license was kind of strange. Also see .
You can still do modpacks and stuff, as long as you aren't making money (excluding donations) from it. If you (or rather, I/Zuxeleus) build upon it or change it, you must release it under the same license.
