    I think this is what greg was telling me about. I kind wanted to keep the recipe just wanted quantum food to be nerfed. It ruins the helm discharging to fast and its cheap too I rather people work for their food.

    They could release a crapload of hotfixes for every major bug fixed, or they could just wait for a few extra days and release them all in one updated version like I assume they are already doing (personally this makes more sense to me).

    It does make sense. Besides the part when this bug for example was suppose to be already fixed and they were like oops. Clearly that way has not worked for them. I'm sorry but if they proven otherwise I would agree but what ends up happening is 2 big bugs are left and instead of fixing them because hey no point in hot fixes they will leave them for 2-3 months for the next update.

    I agree the solar panel recipe change seems excessive, maybe you could just add the new recipe as an alternate? I know that's not a fix, but then server admins could pick which if any they want to enable/disable
    unrelated note: had a question about the lightning rod, maybe i missed in reading the OP but was wondering if the vertical height or horizontal area covered effects lightning strike frequency, recently built one to test in a super flat world and forced rain with nei, lightning was infrequent but when it did happen it seems to strike the ground around the rod more often than the rod itself, built it from bedrock to max height and the expanded out in a pattern, using 1.18a, when lightning did hit it, worked great, but was just wondering for making build more efficient

    Guys and Girls. The recipe can be disabled via the config. The option is there for server admins and players who want more of a challenge. Same with the nuke and same with any other items he feels weak and unbalanced that he wants to fix overtime. Config Config Config! Something a lot of other devs don't do but Greg does!

    I just wanted to post here with the bugs I had talked to about cuz I had edited the message so not sure you got it:


    - I can't be a 100% sure but some your releases don't seem to always check for client to server version but I might be derping here.
    - If I increase how much forge is produced not like matter much to have such a big number but it causes a GUI Glitch: http://godcraft.com/x/d2t2g3gh.png
    - For a server admin point of view the spawning of mobs when you have the mob killing upgrade is very taxing to resources in the long run. 5 players online not a big deal but a large forcefield of a 64 upgrades is 129x129x129 in size if I recall. That can easily produce 100's of entities (dead mobs) if not more in a short period of time. Not only killing mobs above ground at night but also underground day and night and can also be used to exploit or farm mob spawners maybe its intended I'm not sure. It be a cool config file if there was hooks to stop spawning within on forge.

    Fuck these people GregoriusT and more features to armor. I have a request. Could you please add a setting to remove the ability for the quantum helm to give me free food.


    1) Damn cheap
    2) Makes the helm damn useless.


    I rather support all these other cool little food mods and farm mods and not only my first 2 days of play then you usually already have your full suit!

    Please add an option to disable food generation from Q Helm outside the game. This will help support other mods like Forestry and FarmCraftory and Useful Food but also for people who just are sick and tired of having the helm drain faster then the rest of the suit. Even worse now because it stayed at 9 bars not 10 so you could eat steak and go to like 13 bars and such and with some the advance food mods even further but now it stays full its impossible and a pain in the ass.


    So just a simple config option please and thank you :)

    I hate to say it, but I think Team Technic has the right idea, a launcher that allows users to choose their build and chooses for them if users don't decide on a specific build. It is very likely that most users of the Technic launcher just chose a modpack and go, not even touching the settings, thus getting the latest recommended build, not the beta build.


    On a side note, at RRU I would call this "pulling a Lego Group" as this is what happens to many bit of Lego software. TLG would set a ridiculous deadline, and the developers can't build a full game. Here I call this "Pulling an IC2 user" as that may have what happened when the testers said its ready. The team simply got tied of having to answer questions and in an act of compassion, the testers said it was ready.

    IDK Wtf this has to do with anything. The issue here is the IC Devs seem to be burned out and not care like they use to.

    EDIT: I'm a 100% this bugs here because for days I would do simple math and plan ahead and say its going use this much power per EU/t since that's what it uses on my SSP world. Then when I do it my math was wrong and I was like wtf... This when I thought I better bug Thunder to let me nerf the server a bit because it seems a bit to hard.


    Now it makes sense. I been always getting double the power consumption in SMP lol.



    EDIT 2: If you look at the video you can watch the extractors blink and their exactly timed the same (my server has 30ms ping but like 2,000 km away lol

    Yup, I'm doing a test server now and setting up then changing the config to see how it reacts. I feel that must keep partial settings or something inside a block maybe? Its a bit odd that yes it dropped in half but not 4x..



    EDIT: Hopefully you see my edit so 32 upgrade cube should be 800 or 400 EU a tick on default settings? I'm getting 800 meaning 64 upgrades would be 3200. This is in SMP. Odd.
