Not sure why their are arguments about playstyle. You should be fighting for the ability to be able to customize more for your own playstyle... Not try to forge people always with your own ways.

Any chance for a simple lite version Thunderdark? I would love to see a simple edition for PVP but you have made it so complex and so many features that large servers can't use this mod anymore.

I was just complaining about this last night. It's not the recyclers, it's the ability to create free cobble with gens. Adding cobble to that list wouldn't be very bright for a server owner.
I disable recyclers and most my players seem to agree on it. And even then UU Matter is spitting out of their arses lol.

Most my players start with 2-3 Solar Panels then they pretty much jump to LV's / MV's for a long time and removing them as time goes on and upgrading them. Then they build a HV with most of what they had down before.

in the new 1.64 config it shows an energy yield setting for all the generators, I've tried to increase the power of my solar panels in the server's IC.cfg file but it still only puts out 1 EU/t. Is there a special code to increase it or is just adding a 0 at the end enough?
This is only a guess and I could be totally wrong. But try replace the solar panel. I know they did this with the redstone for full power boxes. In the future I think they said they add a interface but it seems to caused havox with a few people since it saves the state in the block rather then just a global config

You have a point and lots of people are pissed. You probably should know that some the fixes requires forge 1.3.2 that was compiled wrong and was untested and posted by SpaceToad on MCF without again checking it and he tends to MIA for a full week. Meaning were SOL. yes there is a fixed version in a few places but the IC Devs only support the official release by them.

Probably fixed for the next hotfix, seems the poles weren't being updated clientside.

Indeed - these arrays seem to be the one thing almost all sides can agree on!
Whatever reason one might have to think that solars are bad, this mod addresses it - the output is perfectly commensurate with the materials (that is to say, it is neither more nor less expensive than the basic IC solars of equivalent output) and it reduces the amount of eNet calculations, which reduces lag.It's beyond me to see how anyone can reasonably disapprove.
Yeah machines are a bonus but the only thing I give 2 fucks really about is the compressed solar arrays. They are a must!

Can you post screenshot that the mod shows up in NEI? I feel that you might have installed it wrong. If it shows up in NEI then we can move onto the next step.

Funnily enough i think the overclocker design is quite nice.
I have pinged Zipp on PM to see how he needs help. I am awaiting his reply. I think Zipp is doing the right thing though - hes trying to break the dependence on the internals of IC2 which is something worth doing.
If I dont hear from Zipp soon I may port 3.1 forward to 1.1 as a temporary measure, but theres no promises, this is Zipps mod, and im not going to usurp him.
I wish I knew more about how things work but from what I gathered each mod maker has to decompile IC and that can be a pain in the ass sometimes :(?

ETA This weekend for people who are not around offten. Spacetoad for the most part is busy during the weekday and when I mean busy he does not even seem to go online hehe. But their going to overtime be doing a forge site where things like this will be less common.

CPW we need you man.. Help this get updated please! I'm done even thinking about the silly OC upgrades and junk lol. If someone knows CPW pretty well shoot him a msg and let him know zipp needs help updating this. The sooner we get the word out the better and quicker we'll all have our beloved adv.machines and NOT the bad machines without enough output slots lol. Design flaws for the lose.
And to the person who is butthurt about me saying that the dev was being "uppity" go read his posts.. He is acting this way, he's basically telling everyone to F' off. but yeah I'm done talkin about it. I could care less, adv machines will be updated and I will install it as I always do and enjoy every second of our "OP" machines... rofl
