I think i understand what your saying, but still none the less the wiki shows this
and my screenshot clearly shows that its exceeding that. which tells me the wiki SHOULD say: "Tin cables can only tolerate up to 5 EU/p"
But with that said what your saying also is i can have 1000000 solar panels connected to tin cable and have a 1000000 EU/t on it and it wont fry? Something is just wrong with that.
So you know what your doing your just being a pain? Do you know how to use a wiki? Have you even edited the page yet? Or did you want them to stop programming and do that for you right now?

Thanks Drashian for doing this.
Attached is a bukkit port. I think this should work, but I believe muCKk may have tweaked the wrench item in bukkit, so it may disable some of his custom code...
Thanks CPW for porting it!

This would not be a to tough one. Please you SSP users this is only a config setting and only something you would have to manually change. The point of this is to prevent damaging large SMP servers to much. The number one damage caused or so I have noticed so far besides really large energy loop grids haha. Is large explosions causing to many items to drop and causing 0-1 FPS for 5 minutes. I will not even dare try to explain the server impact and even more if 10 people are in the area and the servers doing updates to the client hehe.
I feel this would be great for SMP and even SSP for players who want to play a bit more hardcore but also if they have performance issues.

Also, since you didn't read this before you posted:
http://forum.industrial-craft.…?page=Thread&threadID=502This will save you from wondering why you can't post a thread tomorrow about how you can't log into the forum anymore.
haha. He has not been as evil as he has in the past. I assume hes just going lock this sucker and facepalm. But still, I'm amazed people don't understand the process and the work that is put into this and the time.

i just saw that MC is updated when is the expected release of IC2 for 1.1, or is IC2 already compatible with 1.1?
I just trying to do a survey here. How old are you and what is your education background?

silentdeth I was wondering if it was possible to say disable all features but the UU Matter one? I feel that IC to BC is a bit oped but I do like the UU Matter because you do end up running out of oil and bc then becomes Boring

try putting a glass block on top of the solar panel. Or a torch next to it...
Snow, Glass, Leaves and a few other things work now on Solar Panels.
-
This should not be an issue period unless if your an admin... Then you should be using Bukkit version if you are and the 1000x chest protection systems and just disable this block. Really though with my players anyways if I tell them not to do something they don't. You can cheat but why bother? Just don't...
Rather these guys be fixing and adding new content not playing with drama <3

The primary benefit to using Arrays is that you don't have to waste quite so much in wiring all that mess - 512 Solar Panels waste quite a large amount of Tin just to get things all hooked up, and that's not counting additional supporting infrastructure (BatBox, more LV/MV Transformers). A single HV Array could be slapped straight onto an MFSU. For those of us who have to use Optifine just to run at a decent clip, this also greatly reduces lag produced by solar power.
Then again, if you're the kind of person who builds 512 Solar Panels, you might not mind the material costs.
Well we also know sending 512 x 1 sec updates per second is bad for performance. Now we send 1 x 1 update per second... Not 512 yes its sending 512 packet but I mean its not sending it 512 times haha

Zip, did you fix the onBlockRemove to call super.onBlockRemove? I fixed it in one of the bukkit versions I posted a few days ago, but it seems that several people are still having problems with it...
So if I grab yours from the other site it works? I'm using not sure what one haha.
edit: n/m goes to this page
Edit 2: bukkit fix = http://forum.industrial-craft.…ad&postID=31918#post31918

I meant that you can spend at least not all of the panels and at least 2 or even 4.I can't even understand you. Whats with all the frigan raging kids on these forums. We don't mind telling you the benefits and such but don't be a raging jerk.
Also I hope zippinus will say a thing or 2 about the removed solar panels giving energy.
-
is that a complaint?
Nope I think it was a bug report but I might miss understand the system. I assume when it got supper hot it would go BOOM lol. I personally would have enjoyed having to keep them cooled since IC with BC just makes BC to easy if you get my drift. But I was not sure if they were suppose to or not I assume they were since they showed heat changes.

Hello silentdeth, I love the connectors so far. The industrial on a quarry is cool though I guess its capped and thats a good thing I don't want people mining 100 times faster. But I noticed both the x4 and the normal electric one heats up from I think blue green red and HOT RED. But they don't ever blow up with no water supply.
Thanks

That would not even be worth the space savings, would just be a status symbol at that point.
Regardless, most excellent mod, the new Solars are great. My server people have setup a Nether base and are draining multiple lava lakes to power 144 GeoGens, but I love these new Solar Arrays, I may end up making an Overworld base with them just for the heck of it.
Heres a tip. Remove the solar panel and watch your mfsu's gain power still

Strange. I've been using bukkit fine with 3.0 for ages. Went to upgrade today and client 3.1.1 works fine, but the Bukkit jar refuses to start. I've tried removing all the old advanced machines files from the jar and it starts fine. I've removed the file in the config folder and no joy. I copy the 3.1.1 files straight in to the jar like normal and it just refuses to run. Sounds like everyone elses is working fine
Am I missing something obvious?
This is usually when id's are conflicting with other mods.

Doubt the next version will come out before/till Fryday. 1.60 is currently being packed up for testing, but probably the Crops will bug out alot and take time to be fixed.
Okay thanks for the info

Thanks and done
Looking forward to the next version. Lots of people are talking about it. I might consider delaying my launch or should I say relaunch after the Nuke war lol. Was going to go this Friday but I think I might way

This is a known and fixed issue with depleted QuantumHelmets. Tell your people not to use them until next update.
So if I block the helm the rest the suit as far as you know does not cause crashes?

Posting crashlogs ftw.
Just because one error is fixed, doesnt mean other errors cant take it's place.I would but this happen in bukkit using a IC debugging feature enabled and I don't want to be slapped
