A lot of people seem to agree that solar pannels are OP at the moment. However, unless new code was created to handle fractional amounts of EU (possibly by generating 10 power per second, instead of 1 per tick (which is 20 a second) or similar, along with config file customization options.) It is not possible to reduce solar panel production any more.
I'm a bit confused but how do they reduce it on other things like wind and water energy?
I guess Were all stuck with 1.15 lol. Kind sucks oh well

Just saying... 1 EU/t like really? So all I do is mine for a few days a week and I can get easily enough to generate 1000 EU/t it's just to damn oped. Then you have things like wind and etc etc like I really think Solar Panel could be toned down so much even down to like 0.2...
Please make IC more challenging.

Not sure if the 128 was updated but the 64 works well most of that has been fixed besides rubber, resien maybe others but that's all I could see the chainsaw and such fixed.
I don't know if Stasis Field Generator might be the right term though it has some revelents I mean you want to keep the content sort static and not unload hehe.

Pretty much a generator that uses a lot of power that keeps a certain amount of chunks open for a cost of energy. I think their should be some trigger events like after 48 hours it auto shutsdown things like this. Even though on a SMP Server if you reboot it unloads I'm talking about people who abandon land months later when someone walks by no point of loading chunks up again. Maybe this can be part of the component maybe requires a special fuel to run it or maybe better yet you need some kind nuclear component as long as you can run it for at least 24 hours.
For SMP Servers if possible offer limits maybe the max size etc etc.

I suggest just running a SMP Server locally and test through it. TBH it's better then running single player game since you have more lets say multi threading more of a split game for both cores of the PC. This how I test. I don't EVER play single player hehe.
If you use something like mini map you will have to change the bind OR you can leave it but keep holding down the M key click off the mini map then right click haha.

Display Morewith 6 chambers water evaporating starts at 8k but as long as the source block is above the reactor by 2 it will only get the water "flowing" around it and never run out. Granted your mark 1 should never get that high. If you wanted to build a bigger reactor with more chambers and get more out of your Uranium then you are going to have to run cooldowns after or let it melt parts and replace them.
So as far as the construction on your reactor it was fine (minus that you are missing chambers) which you wont need unless you change setup.
Mark I's are good for getting rid of Uranium and completely safe.I would rather get more out of them then just 2.3 eff. Its really personal preference on how much you want to produce / upkeep.

IC2 1.2x will support using the RP2 ores, RP2 will most likely support it in pre-release 3.
Sweet thanks for the update. I don't use RP2 at this time but knowing that you guys are working to make things cross compatible really shows you guys are doing a wonderful job developing the mod.
I tested with the temp addon and got the following info:

Yes, it needs to be surrounded by water; most reactors do. [Water only counts in a 3x3 cube around the reactor core itself]
The water source block 2+ blocks above a reactor is for ones that have too much heating and evaporate water, this reactor is not like that.
So you could basically make a 3x3 cube of water then place the reactor + chambers in it (I think that works - placing in the water I mean) or just place the reactor then fill the rest of the 3x3x3 cube. Or place the reactor + chambers then place the water source block above so it'll pour over the unit.
[basically as long as there are water blocks [source/flowing, doesn't matter] in the remaining 24 blocks of the 3x3x3 cube (reactor taking up 3 blocks) you're all safe.]
