I just modified it to handle unloaded chunks correctly. Linking it to itself is now also impossible.
Thanks so much and my players thank you also

Sounds good then. If he codded it right its a whitelist not a blacklist. Meaning you are safe. On our server we just disable enderman pickup but that's with bukkit.

As far as I know using iron x4 cable works better. So if your sending 512 packet it takes 1 of lets say every 1 but for fun lets say 5 like copper. Then copper is 1 ever 5.
Well copper 32 packet -1 = 29
Well Iron 512 packet -1 =511But this is really the true math...
So if you were say moving 1024 energy.
iron lost 2 energy.
copper lost 32 energy because it loses one per packet so the larger the packet the more energy saved. So the real real request you should ask is can we have something like a 2048 battery so we can send out 2048 packets.
Oh Edit the iron is like 1 per 1 so really you lost 5 energy and I mean do the math up that's still a lot but nothing like what the copper looses.

That and maybe some of us don't want to use buildcraft

Could someone help me design a Reactor with the highest effiency and no cooldown that only uses IC2?
I seen a few I'm still learning myself and trying understand the best designs. My main problem is not even the placement of cells there looks to be 100's on these forums alone but actually building the chamber and where to place things seems to be the biggest downfall. Any suggestions or visual images would be wonderful

Sounds like a good and bad idea in good and bad ways. Things like chunk loader might just be deadly when it comes to a large SMP server. But I do also like the idea of teleporting energy in a way also.

Delete world folder and try again. Their has been bugs like this in the past with vanilla.
-
Does not matter what item can wrench off it will not log it. That is the downside with the convert from vanilla to smp. Their is no hook for that feature. THOUGH there might be so your best bet is to ask the author of logblock to add a logging feature for wrenches.
Also they don't support bukkit here. You can talk about it but their is no official support here for it.

who works on forge anyways? We prob should go ask them hehe.

I just downloaded
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30120548/64px_IC2_Sphax_0.2.7z
And I'm getting some crazy shit white outlines on everything textures really acting up.
EDIT: When I say crazy shit I talk about the white not your wonderful work

it bugged "a bit"
you need multiple pumps (2++) to harvest lava, also it will never harvest lava with diamond drill (feature actually).
So when you say pump do you mean a area or just the source blocks 10 deep or how ever deep it is?
-
Not sure if this a bug or a feature or whats up so I'm posting in support since I never played SSP only SMP.
-
Thanks for the info. Yeah the teleporting went to hell. My players are really sad today. We were starting build a teleport network.
-
What I like to see is real pumps. Something you can drain out lakes with

I wanted to comment I am running now a large IC2 server that peaks 30+ online though we are using modified bukkit we are using 99% of what comes from you guys. I must say I love the mod don't get me wrong but some these bugs were clearly bad testing and I mean really bad testing. Some these things seem to be really easy fix on a few them just someone not willing to test them. At Godcraft we pride ourselves on quality for our players. I don't even throw RB of bukkit up and any plugins unless I thoroughly test things and I get several my players that I trust on a special box just for testing.
I feel that your mod could have done better if it had better testers mainly in the SMP part of things.
Anyways you guys always make the final shots around here but damn a nightly build a special forum section where do you want the detailed reports?

So I have this setup below. Solar array on top my house about 500 panels now. I have it feeding into a single MFSU then parallel to 8 MFSU. This makes all 8 charge at once. This much I know is that each one will then send out a 8 x 512 packet to my mas fabricator you can see at the side. Then down using glass fiber to my MV then LV and my machines.
What I want to do is create a teleport shack outside away. I want to supply it lots of power and from what I was told the only way to feed it power is having it directly beside or on top of something like a MFSU or another lower battery but I was planning traveling 2,000 blocks away.
So the first question is iron wire x4 isolated lets just say I wanted it to go 100 blocks. How much energy would I truly lose? Let me make this easier.
moving 8 x MFSU at 512 packets down 100 blocks and draining 100% of it's power overtime. So I started with 80 Million what would I end up with?
Also someone really needs to work on teleporter system. Should work like a MFSU or something allow multiple packets incoming rather then having it sit right beside a MFSU. I guess my teleporter would have to be a 1x1 and hide the MFSU by the walls and under the teleporter. Seems silly to me I guess I could get away doing a front wall design but that would give max 20mil energy...
PS: Yes I see the wiki page I just don't understand how the math works. If you can help me using mine as a example maybe I can learn

think in 1.20 it's planned on working with batpack. This was a oversight.

Very cool. Will keep looking back for SMP version.
