I start with a Generator (coal), then place a Charging bench next to it (Troll, the add-on), then a macerator, extractor, then all of the other stuff.

Well, I found a neat bug
You can apparently place redstone on rubber pads (I'm using Bukkit, so no idea if this is the porter's fault or a bug)
It's only on SMP..

If it works, awesome.
If it doesn't, tell me. (I got a bukkit server up and running..)
Just use a server wrapper like McMyAdmin!
Also, to install, you just drag and drop the contents of the .zips/.rars/.tar.gz's into the craftbukkit(blah blah blah).jar (Open with WinRAR)
The contents should be folders, named net, or ic2, or bc etc... -
It's the Server's problem; Notch messed it up, and so vanilla servers cant /give items with damage values..
I think it's better in 1.9Pre4 or something... :O -

I don't think there are any Vanilla mods that disable recipes, though.
You could pass a server rule
Although, rules are made to be broken. >:D -

Is the server with IC2 as well?
Is it correctly installed?
Did you make a new map or start from an old one? (this might be it...)
Try deleting (start vanilla), start the world. See if it still is the problem. If it isn't, it's not IC2 related. If it is, well, two things:
1) You just deleted all your ores/machines
2) You found the problem! -
When I saw the title, I thought "Oh, finally someone who knows!"
Since when I had IC1 in 1.7.3, I always gen'd the SMP map with the seed "gargamel" and I always went to that epicly huge cave with epicness (Always were 6 diamonds etc.) but I noticed between the 5-6 maps I gen'd that sometimes things were different, like there were waterfalls where there weren't, or there was a lavafall were it indeed wasn't supposed to be (According to the vanilla map) and It was weird. I still got my 6 diamonds each time -

I just started a new world in SMP, played it, I played for 2 minecraft days, found 5 diamonds (and a stack of iron, ~20 tin, ~30 copper) and then, I decided to get rid of that lavafall in the way of my spelunking.
Guess what? Lag decided to derp out and I fell in, incinerating all my stuff. -.-

Did you install Forge? Try deleting the craftbukkit.jar and redownloading B1317 and installing the UPDATED mods (There are fixes)

Like I said, it's a private, dedicated server, I host the server at the same time I am playing MC (I connect via localhost:1337) [nice port, eh? :D]
Anyways, I have re-installed, and updated the bukkit mods (I host a bukkit server) into the latest versions, and it still happens...

I have only tested with meself, since I started it (RP-Style) and no one is so far on FB or Skype... So i guess tomorrow or in 2 days I can try and test it with friends. -

I think this is a bug with the reactor chambers, it's as if BuildCraft thinks every reactor is a seperate container, I had this bug too with IC1, when I placed a double chest on top of a generator to charge, and it only placed them in the bottom half..

I am hosting a PRIVATE server for a few friends (MCForge, BC2.2.2 and IC2 v1.15) and we were experimenting with stuff like Dynamite and stuff.
Firstly, when we place dynamite and hook them up to the remote, and try to activate, it plays a sound (AudioMod heheh) and the dynamite isn't blown up. Even if we try to "throw" them, it deducts one, doesn't show an entity, and soon after ( a few ms later) the stack is back to the number before I threw it.
Also, Hover Mode doesn't work and I can't switch laser modes both in SP and MP.The hover mode and laser mode is a bug, for sure..
But I don't know whether the dynamite is "disabled" in SMP..
