Yea I know, but why would Al buff it so much ? He was pretty reluctant before. I can't wait for the new new planner and I'm sure it will take no time to update it. (I take designs as sudoku)
I dont think he is buffing nuclear reactors. From what i have heard he is nerfing the components we use often (that probably means cooling cells and heat disipators) and buffing the ones we dont use. I also saw alot of new components possibly higher tiers of current components and maybe some new stuff.

Better version of the MKI-0 Reactor (first reactor in the list). Same output, fewer components and lots of free space for other stuff to add, like another 10 EU/t.
heh nice try but iam pretty sure my design is the best possible design for a cheap 2 eff reactor xd. I think that design was the one we used before i discovered the current design.
1. These 2 reactors are for the most part in the same chunk. But I'll be honest with you I don't 100% get what you mean.
If a reactor is in 2 chunks then its possible only half the reactor is loaded. I guess you can figure out the rest yourself :).
You know this is gonna become 10000x worse when new IC2 version is here with completely new reactor designs. But first few days should be calm xd as long as the reactor planner isnt updated :).

making somethins easy 9000 times is not hard, solars will stay as long as there is no diamond in recipe.
As long as renewable generators are in IC2 they will be used. Why? Because renewables are cool.
If you don't mind running around with lots of buckets - yes, gheoterms are good. But if you want to use pipes - you should compare gheotherms not with vanilla ic2, but with casucs. And casuc is ~2000 eu/t.
And don't cheat in you math by comparing generator count to copper count. 9 generators is 72 iron, which is a lot.
In 1 run i can get way more than 72 iron. You only need to find 36 ore since you macerate it.
Compared to solars or even nuclear geothermal is by far the cheapest.
